My good friend and super talented stylist Reah Norman is hosting the Bloomingdale’s Shop For Women Spring Fashion Show and YOU’RE INVITED! It will be an afternoon of fashion you won’t want to miss and I’m very excited to be a part it. There will be style, sips, sweets, and raffle prizes! Of course there will be a spring runway presentation that will include plus size looks and a blogger panel that includes myself, Rachel Richardson of Lovely in LA, Allison Teng of Curvy Girl Chic, Courtney Hawkins of The Simple Glamazon, Jennifer Buckingham of Model Radical, and Kristine Thompson…
This is basically my “wishful thinking” fashion post. Meaning…I wish it was cold enough here in L.A. to wear any one of these plus size cardigans right now. Guys, it’s still hot here and it doesn’t look like the cooler fall temperatures will be here any time soon. So, I sit here dreaming of sweater weather. And like I always do, I found a few favorites that I wanted to share with you.
This is my first holiday post and I’m so excited! Yes, I’m that person. You know this is my favorite time of the year. I’ve been snooping around online and I’ve spotted some holiday fashion trends. Five trends to be exact. And I’m going to share them with you over the next week. Let’s start it off with metallics.
I love a good store opening. What I like even better is getting a sneak peek before it opens to the public. That’s what I did last week when I was invited to a press preview for the 37th Bloomingdale’s store to open in the United States. It officially opened on Friday, November 8 in the city of Glendale, California (Los Angeles area).
Who doesn’t love a statement necklace? I think they’re amazing and can change the entire look of an outfit. Duh! That’s the whole point of them. And as we slip into November, because of the holidays, you’re going to see them every where. One of my favorite trends is the black statement necklace. You’ll bring drama to any look with these below.
