Pucker up and get ready for your new lip crush—MDMflow. Inspired by 90’s Hip Hop culture, this London-based premium beauty brand is the creation of Florence Adepoju. The cruelty-free and handmade lipsticks come in some seriously bold and fun shades, including Vamp (which I need in my life ASAP). I can’t get enough of the gold tubes it comes in. And I love how each of these hot shades has a little story of how it was inspired. I personally had a chance to try out three shades: Supreme, Bossy, and Di La La. No excuses guys! I have found 2 of the easiest and natural DIY hair masks possibly ever. I know that’s a bold statement to make. I was inspired by a tour of Northgate Markets here in Southern California. I blame it all on the fresh veggies and fruits that caught my eye with their stunning colors. I’m hoping the next time you walk into your local market, you’re going to look at your produce department a lot differently.
Busy! Busy! Busy! That’s been the story of my life lately. And with all of the traveling I’ve been doing, it seems there’s never any time for well…anything. Especially, anything in the beauty department. How many times have you been flying coast to coast and wished you had stopped to pick up your favorite face wash or even just got a quick mani and pedi? If you’re traveling via the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), you’re going to love the beauty insider info I have for you!
I have a little blogger confession. Sometimes, I have a little bit of a problem reviewing beauty products on time and in season. For example, I was gifted this ColourPop In Bloom collection ($39) by Celebrity Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg in the spring. It is now the middle of summer and I’m just getting around to trying it out. Oopsie…I don’t really follow makeup trends anyways, so I guess it’s no biggie. These shades are always in season for me!
Oh summer, you are so awesome—when you’re not blazingly blinding me. Actually, I’m kind of happy with the mild weather you’ve given us Angelenos this season. Still, I find myself dealing with a few summer beauty issues. Am I alone here? I doubt it. Thank goodness for these three essential summer beauty fixes I found for my peskiest problems.
I love a bright and bold red lip. Don’t you? Believe me, I know it’s not for everyone. I just get bummed out when I hear my friends saying that they can’t wear bright lipstick. My response? “YOU CAN wear bold and bright colors!” Yes, you can! This summer is the perfect time to get adventurous. I even created a new Pinterest board to inspire your future lipstick looks. I’ll be updating it often, so make sure to follow that board if you’re on Pinterest. So, which one of these bold shades will you try this summer? Follow Curves and Chaos™’s board Lipspiration on…
In this world of blogging, I love getting a chance to try out new beauty products. Especially, those that were created with purpose. RITUALS, whose collections are based on Eastern traditions, is also based on the idea that “happiness can be found in the smallest of things. We transform your everyday routines into moments of indulgence by means of beautiful and luxurious products.” I was sent their True Happiness Gift Set and I can see it making a great gift for the beauty lover in your life.
