I’ll never forget being a teen and begging my mom to let me shave my legs. Little did I know all that came along with it. Like the constant and expensive upkeep for someone hairy like me. If you buy razors on the regular, you know how pricey they are. I’ve seen razor blade refills for as much as $20 for a refill box of four. That’s kind of ridiculous. I don’t know about you, but sometimes my budget doesn’t allow me to buy those. I end up getting stuck with the cheap “one use only” razors. This is where…
I have a little blogger confession. Sometimes, I have a little bit of a problem reviewing beauty products on time and in season. For example, I was gifted this ColourPop In Bloom collection ($39) by Celebrity Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg in the spring. It is now the middle of summer and I’m just getting around to trying it out. Oopsie…I don’t really follow makeup trends anyways, so I guess it’s no biggie. These shades are always in season for me!
Think about if for a second, how much does your nose and it’s ability to smell play a part in your every day life? A beautiful scent can bring you immediate joy and pleasure. I know when I smell something that reminds me of my childhood, I’m all smiles. And unpleasant scents…well…we’ll just leave them at unpleasant. I had a chance to try out two new products from CLEAN that left me smiling.
Where are my chicas who are always “on the go?” You know…the jet setters. OK, now where are my Urban Decay fans? And last but not least —where are the Naked palette junkies? If you’re all of the above, you’re going to really want to get your hands on the new Urban Decay Naked On The Run travel-ready kit. It will fit perfectly in your carry-on!
I have always been a fan of actress Drew Barrymore. Maybe it’s her free spirit…or the fact that’s she’s a great actress. So, when she debuted her beauty line Flower a few year’s ago, I was really excited. I use her Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Color in ‘Get to the Poinsettia’ religiously. I’m still experimenting with some of the other products. I did get my hands on one of the mascaras. Check out this Zoom-In Ultimate Mascara review. OK…so we’ve already established that 2015 is going to be an awesome year…right? Of course it will! Because it’s all about loving your self inside and out. And if you’re anything like me, you’re definitely into trying a few new beauty products too. When I was contacted and asked if I wanted to offer you guys a giveaway of new products from Neutrogena that will launch in 2015—I had to say yes!

When I was younger, I was that girl who always fell asleep with her makeup on…always. As I got older, I learned about how important it is to take off that makeup before heading to bed. Today, I not only take off my makeup, but I have a nightly beauty routine before I get those much needed zzzzzzzz’s. I not only sleep better, but I wake up with more radiant and refreshed skin. Pond’s sent me a few products to add my already existing routine and they fit in quite nicely!
Since the crazy, mad busy, and stressful holidays are here, you’re bound to have some sleepless nights. And what comes with lack of sleep? Puffy eyes! Sorry for the reminder. I’ve been all about my eyes lately. Trying this and that, but I came across the Mary Kay Indulge Soothing Eye Gel recently and I wanted to share it with you.

I know I’ve said a million times how much I love colder weather. Of course, there are some downsides to it. One that I honestly can not stand is what it does to my hands. I am that person who is tortured with dry, cracking, and itchy hands in the winter. Yup, that’s me. My big ol’ paws (courtesy of my dad and I wouldn’t have it any other way) are not happy when dealing with chilly weather. I can happily say goodbye to the torture because I’ve discovered Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream and took their 7-day challenge.
When it comes to my cheeks and my lips, I try not to use makeup that’s going feel heavy and thick. I love wearing light and sheer makeup year round. As I was going through some products I received to review, I came across a package I forgot to open. Don’t ask me how that happens. I opened it to find Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm and Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm. Two balms that are made for the sheer makeup lovers out there. Here’s a quick Beauty Buzz report!
If you haven’t seen the movie Pulp Fiction, I’m going to need you to stop what you’re doing and watch it. Then come back to this post and check out the latest Limited Edition Urban Decay collection. The Quentin Tarantino movie is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year, do you feel old yet? The collection, one that I’m going to use every day this fall, is a based on the look of one of my favorite characters in the movie—Mrs. Mia Wallace.
Can you believe New York Fashion Week has come and gone?!? Normally, I’m all over the fashion that hits the runway, but this year I’ve been a little more inspired on the beauty side. And thanks to Aveda, who is sharing the beauty looks they created for NYFW, you’ll be able to get these looks yourself. First up, is a super achievable wavy pony tail that I’m definitely going to try and recreate.
