When spring and summer hit, I can’t wait to pull out my wedge sandals. They go great with practically anything. I would take all of these above! Stupid budgeting. Read more
This summer trend will not only have you looking chic, but it will keep you comfy! I love that combo, don’t you? With its floor touching length, the maxi dress was made for me…and you. It’s so versatile too. You can dress it down with a pair of flip flops or dress it up a bit with a cute wedge or heel. If you wear it into the evening you can throw on your favorite cardigan or Pashmina wrap. Oh…if you were wondering I’m loving #9!
My golden rule: If the dress has a vibrant print, make sure to keep your jewelry simple.

Ok…it’s time to start looking for a swimsuit. Here are my requirements:
- One piece
- Reasonably priced
- Great quality
- Sturdy chest support (lol)
That’s not too much to ask for, right? I picked a few below, but some of them are pricey. I’ll keep looking.
I spent this past Easter weekend in Arizona with my family and let me tell you it was an exhausting one! It was a last minute trip, but it was nice to get out of town for a minute. I got back late last night and I am sooooooo happy to be back home. L.A. has my heart for sure!
I wore this outfit for Easter Sunday (with a black cardigan for church). Later, I switched out the heels for white gladiator sandals. It was a pretty comfy outfit, especially the pants. I love the buttons. I was battling with my hair…and I lost. Yuck. My mom was the photographer this time…she’s pretty good…a little blurry…but good.
Being on a budget is not working for me! Look at what I found at Maurices! Darn e-window shopping! I’m definitely in the mood for coral and denim. Especially, the cutoff shorts. Which I can probably do at home…hmmm…lightbulb! This budgeting is inspiring DIY projects. I guess that’s a good thing. Right?
Thank you to everyone who entered.
A gigantic L.A. hug to all of those who visit and comment my blog. It means the world to me.
You didn’t win?
Don’t worry…I have another giveaway in the works!
I have loved Madonna, ever since I can remember.
Here she is with her daughter Lourdes…OH! What is that she’s carrying in her right hand? A handbag? A Jimmy Choo handbag? The $30,000 Jimmy Choo “Blythe” handbag!!!!
Yes, you read that right. Well, according to JustJared.com, it is. And they’re pretty reliable.
I know she’s a millionaire and I know she can buy whatever crocodile handbag her little heart desires.
But, seriously? What the…? I am sitting here trying to convince myself that maybe it was given to her as a gift. But, after doing some research, I found out these handbags were a limited edition line and only 12 samples were available in the U.S.
Guess when you’re a worldwide pop star…price is not an issue!
The Red Rosette
Who is your favorite fashion designer and why?
I like the usual, Chanel, Chloé, Stella McCartney. And some Scandinavian brands, Whyred, Acne, Minimarket. But I don´t really believe in paying that much money for designer stuff, so I have to say the designers behind Topshop.
What is the one fashion accessory/item you can’t live without?
My leather biker jacket.
If you were allowed to create a beauty product, what would it be and what would you name it?
The perfect pink blush, would probably call it something corny like morning rosebud, lol.
If you only had 10 minutes to pack for a fashion extravaganza in your favorite city, what would you bring and where would it be?
Would pack some killer black heels, a girly pink dress and my biker jacket, do my hair in a topknot and put on some red lipstick. The location would be London.
Do you live by a fashion philosophy or quote? What is it?
Don´t believe in dressing for your size, just believe in your own sense of style.
Soooooo…the hubby told me last week that we need to start budgeting. You know what that means, right? No more shopping.
Yeah right! That just means super duper bargain shopping and thrifting!! Or I can wear the clothes I have in my closet. Either way, I am always up for a challenge! I will not let my shopping spirit be crushed! I will not be defeated! I promise.
P.S. I will be back on Twitter and FB in 3 days!!!!
P.P.S. I want to comment on your posts! But, if you have a blogger blog with the comment box embedded under the posts, for some reason it doesn’t work for me.
P.P.P.S For all the beautiful bloggers who have given me awards…THANK YOU! Makes me blush! But, I’m awful at giving them out. Sorry.
I’m not going to let the looming L.A. rain discourage me from dreaming of warmer days ahead.
Yes, I love the rain, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate a clear warm day every-now-and-then!
Those are the days I love to throw on a tank top with a pair of jeans or a skirt.
Today’s tanks come from Delias. I know they are geared toward non-curvy teens…BUT…these come up to a 2X!
Loving this one (left)…it’s called firecracker!
Oh!! How I wish I was bold enough to wear eyeshadow colors like these from Benefit.
Man, it’s not fair! Why didn’t I get that daring make-up gene? Sometimes, I will by an eyeshadow in an amazing color…and it just sits there. Just waiting for me to try it. Poor little lonely eye-popping shadow…sigh.
FYI…enter this Benefit contest. I did!
Enter to win year-round California beauty & fashion from Benefit Cosmetics & Michael Stars. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Sweepstakes ends 4.4.10.
There’s something about this slinky reptile that makes me want to crawl out of my skin! But, jewelry…I can do. Add a little edge to your outfit and accessorize with snakes. Don’t be afraid! These won’t bite!
It’s definitely a Monday. So blah when I woke up…so uninspired…until I turned on my television.
If you have “On Demand” go over to the Sundance Channel and watch the documentary “The Red Carpet Issue.” It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how the red carpet, fashion, designers, and celebrities come together to form this mega-money making business. It’s pretty interesting. It’ s broken down here in 4-part previews. Enjoy!
