As you can see, the fall runway produced a very simple and attainable look. For the most part, the makeup was light and the hair was wavy. I have always been a fan of the soft lip and strong eye. Oscar de la Renta’s look was a little bit darker than the others, but the women look stunning.

I promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Here it goes. I use to think gladiator sandals were ugly. There! I said it. But, now they are all that I want to wear for spring and summer. I am also a big fan of the slouchy ‘nomad’ sandal. It’s like playing dress-up, with your feet. I still love my flip-flops, don’t get me wrong. But, I think it’s time to step out in a different style.

When I think of denim, the first thing that comes to mind is a great pair of jeans. If you’re the same way, you might want to rethink denim this spring. It’s coming at ya’ in the form of jewelry, dresses, skirts, shoes, and jackets. Are you ready?

My golden rule: Don’t do denim head to toe. Add one piece and work around it. You don’t want to look like a denim factory threw up on you!
I know we all love shopping. But, seriously I LOVE SHOPPING! My Valentine’s gift from the hubby was shopping this weekend. He’s a romantic…I know. It was definitely a great Valentine’s Day!
I picked up a lot of great pieces. Including, this sweetheart dress from Forever 21′s Faith 21 line. I am going to a 50th Wedding Anniversary and I’m not sure if this is appropriate or not. I love the dress, but the neckline is a little low. If I wear it I am going to add something underneath, so I’m not flashing everyone at the celebration. Lol.
The dress was on the web site last night, but it’s not there today. (Good thing I grabbed the image last night) It disappeared.
If there is one word to describe my personal style, it would have to be comfortable. If I’m not happy with what I’m wearing I’ll be miserable.
This past weekend is a great example of that. The weather was beautiful here in L.A. and I was happy to pull out the sandals. The scarf you see was a lucky purchase on a Saturday morning shopping spree. A definite bargainista find!
As you can see in the pic, my fave piece of clothing right now is a pair of leggings. I adore leggings! Seriously, my husband asked me if I wear real pants anymore. Lol. I am also in love with the long and soft tees from Old Navy. They are a great price and I can wear them long, with a belt, or tuck them in if I want.

The hubby and I decided to go out on a dinner date last night. I wanted to wear something that I haven’t worn in a long time. I reached into my closet and pulled out that pencil skirt and the v-neck floral tee. I was definitely in the mood to try something different with my outfit. Trying the high-waisted look was very daring for me. I still wanted to be comfy, so I threw on this plum-colored sweater and patent leather flats. I love these flats, they are super comfy. I bought them a year ago and I wear them all the time! Hope I don’t look too grumpy. I’m still sick and wasn’t having much luck with my camera.
