I’m so in love with Dolce Vita shoes. I wish they offered shoe-a-holics a lifetime membership. You just pay a yearly fee and they just send you shoes when they come out. Yeah, I know there are a lot of shoe companies like this, but I want Dolce Vita! If they did, I’d be one happy girl.
Just look! This round of new arrivals has really caught my attention. It’s like little bits of suede deliciousness. Read more
OK ladies…I don’t want to hear any more excuses. There’s no need to complain about not having lingerie that fits. Plus size lingerie is popping up everywhere. And this includes one of my favorite retailers, City Chic. You may have seen the beautiful Tocarra wearing their pieces in the October issue of Plus Model Magazine. The new line carries bras, panties, and shapewear. Sexy!

$10 general admission tickets will be available at the door.
I’m back from Chicago and brrrrrr…it was chilly there and this L.A. girl loved it. After seeing everyone bundled up, I started to think about how you can stay warm, but look chic at the same too. How about a beret? I really like this Pins and Needles Basketweave bow beret from Urban Outfitters ($14.99).
There’s no need to be afraid of berets like this, you don’t have to be in in Paris to wear one. You can find them in almost every accessory store during the fall and winter. And they vary in price and design.
From embellishment’s like stones or sequins to nuetral or bright colors, there’s pretty much something for everyone. I always worry they won’t stay on my head, but that’s what bobby pins are for. LOL.

Today, I had the pleasure of being invited to the Topanga Nordstrom Rack in Woodland Hills, California to check out their plus size section. This is probably one of “the” biggest Nordstrom Racks I’ve been too. The plus section had different designers and a few clearance racks! Yay!! If you’re a Southern California girl, I’d definitely check it out. I found a few tops and two cardigan-wrap sweaters. One of them caught my eye the minute I walked in. It’s a white and grey Fair Isle design. I can’t wait for it to get cold so I can wear it!
If you’re wondering what Fair Isle is, it’s a traditional knitting used to create different patterns with a variety of colors. It’s named after a small island named Fair Isle north of Scotland, part of the Shetland islands. You’ve probably seen the patterns before and you’ll definitely see more of it this season. Here are some perfect examples:
The month of October just flew by didn’t it? I spent some time in South Beach and Orlando, Florida and it feels like a dream. LOL! I can’t believe it’s already November. I’m freaking out over here. It’s going way too fast. I saw a Christmas commercial yesterday and I’ve determined I’m not ready. I didn’t even do anything for Halloween because I was sick. I saw everyone’s costumes and I was very jealous.
Speaking of October…Breast Cancer Awareness month was one I’ll never forget. In fact, I created a quick video for you all. Check it out below.
Oh…don’t forget to enter the last “Pink” giveaway. You can enter to win a pink clutch filled with jewlery from Ashley Stewart. It ends Friday!! Enter Now!!
If you questioned my love for shopping and finding bargains, think again. I don’t price discriminate. If it’s hot it’s hot! No matter what the tag say’s. And you know I’m always looking to share the deals I find with you.
I wanted to do a “10 Under $10,” but that proved to be a little difficult. Let’s save that for another time. LOL. Instead, I found 15 great deals under $15! I found a little bit of everything for you ladies. It took a while, but I did it. I’m patting myself on my back by the way. Enjoy…
Hot off the virtual press, the November issue of Plus Model Magazine has hit the internet.”The Luxe Issue” features all things luxury, as the stunning Katya graces the cover.
The issue is filled with beauty, fashion, stunning features, fashion spreads, and tons of photos. I’m not biased, but as the shopping editor of PMM, I can say this issue has hit the mark! The PMM team works extremely hard to bring you this monthly issue.
My feature, “Luxury for Less” was a work of love, sweat, and tears. I searched high and low for items, that are considered luxury, that could fit a fashionista’s budget-but still look fabulous! Check it out on pages 32-37. It’s a “faux” lover’s dream!!
I saw the issue last night and I was dying over the “Exterior Motives” beauty spread! The makeup is stunning!! OK, seriously there’s so much I love about this issue. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, you should headHERE now and read it. Come back and tell me what you think. I’d love to hear your thoughts!!
