I love days that are all about comfort. Yesterday was one of those days. I had a last minute change of plans and headed out of the city for a day with my hubby and our family. We were headed to “the ranch” for the day and I just wanted to relax with my loved ones. You know I had to make sure my outfit was comfortable.
It’s begun. A new obsession. I’ve never been one to really wear hats. But, for some odd reason, I can’t seem to get them out of my head (no pun intended). I have the urge to go shopping for one, but I can’t. Instead I’ll sit here and drool over these fall hats I found at one of my favorite stores.
Two of my favorite things together again—fashion and my friends. Thanks Torrid for the invite to your Holiday Preview Event! We all gathered at their headquarters, here in Los Angeles, for an afternoon of fashion. Unfortunately, I was stuck in traffic and arrived just a little bit late. The story of my L.A. life.
My heart is always a little heavy this time of the year with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I lost a beautiful person to this horrible disease and I miss her every day. I know I’m not the only one who has been affected—we are all connected in some way. That’s why it’s so important to help support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Evelyn H. Lauder.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned in life (so far), it’s that if you don’t stop worrying about what others think about you, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Yes, a disservice. You should know that life is meant to be lived. Who cares what others think about you? Do not let others define who you are.
