OOTD: Feeling a Little Blue

I’m really not sad. LOL. I’m just loving this blue top! I bought this at a yard sale that was held by Stylist Reah Norman. Thanks Reah! It’s by Daniel Rainn and it has these amazing ruffles and pockets. You know how I feel about pockets. I wore it to a high school graduation last night. Which had a whopping 680 graduates by the way and it was in a sports arena! WOW.

Back to the outfit…I went simple with my jewelery, only because the color was so bold. My earrings are these cute little rhinestone bows I bought at Torrid and my bracelets are from Lane Bryant. My shoes are from the Kenneth Cole outlet. These suede wedges have a cool magenta stripe on the heel. The belt is from another top and I had to wear it because the top was a little big and I wanted to add some shape. I really liked this look, I’m guessing it was the color. It made me feel a little sassy! LOL

The Handbag Lover’s Best Kept Secret: Bags Bonanza

Handbag shopping is not for the weak. Buying that perfect bag isn’t an easy task. There’s so much to consider; style, color, price, size, designer, and the wow factor. I know! It’s stressful just thinking about it, right?

What if I told you there’s a place, where you can not only shop from an inventory of over 25,000 bags, but you can also sell your own handbags, interact with the sellers, and chat with your buyers all in one place? Do I have your bag obsessed attention now?

Bags Bonanza, is an online marketplace selling designer bags at discount prices. Now, it’s not just any normal marketplace. In fact it’s the best eBay alternative out there. Search for your future bag by brand, style, color, material, and price. It’s sooooo easy to use.

In fact, I’ve been on this vintage handbag kick lately. I found three vintage bags that I’m really interested in. The Dooney and Bourke ($144.95), Gucci ($139.00), and Coach ($18.95). OK, I know the Coach bag is an amazing price, but I’m loving the other one’s too! Ugh! Decisions…decisions.

If you decide you’d rather make a little cash, then selling on Bags Bonanza is really the way to go. Remember, when I said they were the best eBay alternative? Well, they are. Just take a look at their fees. They are over 50% lower. You can even start selling right away and you’ll get automatic Google promotion. Excuse me while I sift through my bag inventory…I just might start selling.

Find the handbag that was meant to be yours. Brands like Fendi, Christian Dior, Burberry, Chloe, and Louis Vuitton are waiting for you!  Visit www.Bags.Bonanza.com today.

This Trend is Cool as Blue

The minute I saw Chanel Iman in this amazing turquoise dress, I knew I had to write this post. I’m not sure who the designer is, but I do know she wore it to the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City.

Raise your hand if you wish a designer would make this gown for us curvy girls (raises hand).  Why do straight sizes have all the fashion fun? No fair!

This has always been one of my favorite colors. It reminds me of the turquoise jewelery my mom would buy me from Arizona. Did you notice there are even a few aqua colored items that made the cut?

Doesn’t this cool blue makes you think of water? This really makes me think of the beach. Which has me crushing on #10 from Style369.com. Can you tell summer is right around the corner?

Which is your favorite piece below?

1. Chinese Laundry $44.95  2. Remi & Reed $25  3. Ashley Stewart $19.99  4. Forever 21+ $22.80  5. Kendra Scott $60  6.  KBL $135  7. ALDO $18   8.  Element $41.60  9. Just Cavalli $545  10. Style369.com £29.50  11. Avenue $24.90  12. ASOS Curve $64.63  13. Crocs $45  14. Lane Bryant $48.96

COVERGIRL Beauty Bar Event Pics

Here are some awesome photos by John Sciulli from the COVERGIRL Beauty Bar event at the Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood. You can see below Makeup Artist Amy Nadine applying blush, before I got my hair done. Read the post about the event here.

And of course there were some celebs on hand. Rumer Willis, Karina Smirnoff, Stephanie Pratt, Demi Lovato, Taylor Armstrong, Lisa Vanderpump, and Aubrey O’Day made sure to get all dolled up! I’m kinda bummed I didn’t get to meet any of them. I think I left before they got there. I wish I would have met Demi Lovato and Aubrey O’Day.

A Day of Beauty

Don’t you just love getting beautified? Thanks to CoverGirl for inviting me to their Beauty Bar event at the Nine Zero One Salon in West Hollywood. It’s all to celebrate tomorrow’s MTV Movie Awards.

I’m sorry I don’t have any pics from this event. We weren’t allowed to take any photos or video. But, I can tell you this chic salon was packed.

I got my makeup done by the very sweet and talented Amy Nadine. My braided hair was courtesy of the salon. They have a Braid Bar there and only charge $25 to have your hair braided in your style of choice. I know I’ll be back!

They also offered manicures, pedicures, blow outs, and spray tan. Hypnotic was on hand with their new Harmonie Liqueur vodka. We enjoyed purple cocktails, eats, and sweets. We also walked a way with a bag of goodies.

I was going to wear a dress, but it was cloudy here in Los Angeles. I wore this feather-inspired flowy top from Nordstrom Rack, my (fave) City Chic wide leg jeans, and these (new favorite) coral Dolce Vita wedges I also scored at Nordstrom Rack. And you know I’m bangle crazy right now, so I wore these that I got at Avenue, my ring is from H&M, and the earrings are from a small boutique.

I’m wearing CoverGirl’s new Natureluxe Silk foundation, Liquiline Blast Eyeliner, and LipPerfection Lip Color. I’m really loving their products right now!
What is your favorite CoverGirl product?

Disclosure: Admission to this event was courtesy of CoverGirl. The services and products provided were gifted. The above is my true and honest opinion.

China Glaze’s Make an Entrance

You can never go wrong with a pink nail polish. Especially with a name like “Make an Entrance.” China Glaze has pretty much taken over my nail life. We all need a little color in our lives.

Who is Manon Baptiste?

I’m on an official mission to find out who designer Manon Baptiste is. Do you know?

I think he/she might be a French designer.  I’m on Navabi.us and I’ve noticed a lot of this designer’s pieces are sold out. And I can’t for the life of me, find any more information about this designer on the internet. It’s driving me crazy. LOL. Sorry, I’m anal like that.

These are my two favorite pieces and for designer fashion, the prices aren’t too bad. I am loving how these just hug the natural curves of the body. Don’t you just love that?

The first dress also comes in white and would have been perfect for the Full Figured Fashion Week “White on White” Sunset Cruise! Why are all the good dresses gone?

OK, back to the craziness. I’ve already emailed Navabi for more info on this designer, but if any of you out there know, please share with me. Pretty please?

For those of you who don’t know, Navabi sells “designer fashions in plus sizes.” You can find Anna Scholz, Elena Miro, Roberto Cavalli, and more.

Yes, that’s right…designer fashions in plus sizes! You can thank me later.
