Here are more photos from MAGIC’s FN Platform. I don’t think you ladies understand how many shoes there were! We didn’t even cover the entire thing. I know my feet would’ve of been dead at the end of that day!
I was most impressed with Betsey Johnson and Charles Whittington. Of course I always love a fun shoe like Betsey Johnson, but I was loving the double stiletto by Charles Whittington. Isn’t it cool? It’s trademarked people…so don’t try to steal it! Just love it!
Guess who overpacked for MAGIC? I told my hubby it was a good thing I wasn’t flying because I would have been paying for that extra weight. LOL! Have you ever done that? Overpacked, but hated almost everything in your suitcase? That was definitely me.
So, what does any girl do when they don’t like their clothes? Go shopping of course. I stopped by the outlets on my way to Las Vegas and bought this beautiful asymmetrical BCBG Max Azria sweater. Thanks for convincing me Ivory! LOL! She’s always right. I wore it on the first day of MAGIC. Later that night, we decided to dress up a bit to go out. I wore this purple off the shoulder sweater dress, with these BCBG Max Azria ankle boots I snatched up on Ideeli.com. Love that web site! I just might have a thing for BCBG!
On Valentine’s Day, I wanted to commemorate the holiday with this heart sweater from Forever 21. I know…I’m corny like that. I was missing my hubby. I wore it with a pair of black Mossimo skinny jeans from Target. They really stretched out by the end of the night. Be careful if you buy them. I’d go a size smaller.
Now it’s time for the fun part of traveling…unpacking. Ugh!

Footwear News (FN) collaborates with MAGIC to bring over 1,500 labels together, in men, womens, juniors, and kids shoes. It was insane! Not only were there established brands, but there were also new brands I couldn’t get enough of! A group of us bloggers were given a little tour around where we met up with the designers and people of Pour La Victoire, 80%20, Coye Nokes, House of Harlow, and Foot Petals.
It was so awesome to be able to get a sneak peek into their fall collections. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to take photos of all the shoes. But, I did take a lot of photos of others. I decided to break the up in a few parts over the next few days.
The blogaversary giveaways continue! We are on #3 and they feature three of my favorite things: lingerie, shoes, and soft skin. Who doesn’t love that right?
I’m still in Las Vegas for MAGIC, but I had to give you the third giveaway!
One reader will win a $50 gift card from the ultra-sexy Hips & Curves, a $50 gift card from the home of shoes Payless ShoeSource, and two bottles of Caress’ Fine Fragrance Elixir body wash, they are the definition of soft skin.
I’m overwhelmed by all of the entries so far, especially those who choose to comment. It really means a lot to me. You’re the best of the best my loves! Thanks!!
I think I’m about to walk myself right into a fashion craze on Monday. I’ve been to a few blogging conferences and events. But, I don’t think I’ve ever been to anything this big before! Next week, I’ll be attending WWDMAGIC in Las Vegas!
WWDMAGIC is “the” fashion tradeshow. There will be over 5,000+ men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel, footwear and accessories brands. They meet here twice a year to showcase their latest designs. In other words, it’s a mecca for buyers and fashion bloggers. I guess I’ll make it my NYFW, without the runways.
Take a look:
You can follow me on Twitter @CurvesandChaos or the #MAGICLV hashtag, where I’ll be tweeting about my Las Vegas experience. And if I have time, I’ll try to post while I’m there. So excited…I have to go and pack!
Now, here are some shoes I wish I had the guts to wear. I was at the mall the other day and I fell head over heels for a pair of neon pink wedges from Aldo. They were gorgeous. Of course I know I can wear them, but I’m taking baby steps out of my comfort zone and this would require a huge jump for me. I’m silly like that. But, I think I can wear those with the touches of neon. Read more
How many times have you heard this? Welcome to world of what we like to call backhanded compliments. You’re being told you’re beautiful, but (yes there’s a “but” in there, no pun intended), apparently your body isn’t. Read more
Look mom, I’m wearing a floral print! LOL! I don’t think I’ve worn anything like this in years. Seriously, in a very long time. Watch out people!
The minute I saw the Ditsy Chiffon Dress on Torrid.com, I had to try it. This is a fun and feminine dress without showing too much. The sleeves are sheer and the length is perfect for me. It did show a little too much cleavage for my liking, so I added a black camisole underneath. It comes with a skinny patent leather black belt. I paired the dress with Torrid’s Black Opaque Tights. I’m wearing the size 1/2 and there is no tummy control in these, if you were wondering.
I wore this to an event and was complimented instantly. I was comfortable all night and almost didn’t want to take it off. If you’re trying to figure out what to wear on your casual Valentine’s dinner date, this may be the dress for you!
I’m in the mood for loooooove. Sorry, I’m a Valentine’s Day kind of girl. And when I start thinking of this day, nothing but hearts come to mind. Accessorizing with any of these pieces above will make your day a lot more “lovely.” Sorry, I had to do it. LOL!
It’s a Valentine’s Day countdown! It’s time to get sexy. I know that won’t be hard for you ladies! And if any significant others are reading this post, maybe it will serve as some gift inspiration. Hint…hint.
There’s no better way to show off those voluptuous curves than with sexy lingerie. I’m dying over those Lace Heart Back Panties from Hips & Curves (#8). So HOT! I want them stat! I think the hubby will love them.
Actually, I’m loving all of these picks below. These are my top picks! Did I miss any? Leave a comment and tell me where you get your lingerie.
Oh yeah…yesterday was the Super Bowl. It matters if you’re team was playing. Mine wasn’t…blah. Don’t get me started. Next year my Denver Broncos will dominate…just you wait. Anyways…if I didn’t already lose you, this is what I decided to wear for this eventful Sunday.
We spent the day at the in-laws eating way too much. I knew this was going to happen, so I wanted to be super comfy. That’s where this printed Rachel Pally top came in (no longer available). I bought this at my second warehouse sale and it’s so comfy. It can also be worn as a tunic with leggings and it’s from the straight size collection. I was instantly in love with the colors and print. My jeans are from Levi’s Curve ID line. I’m a “Demi Curve” by-the-way. They are probably my favorite pair of jeans. They just fit me. Period.
I snagged up these sandals on Hautelook, from Nine West’s line Boutique 9. Got them for an amazing deal! Love amazing deals…just like these $1 earrings I got in downtown. Yay me!
