I’m going to be honest, I was never a fan of the faux fur vest. I really wasn’t. That is until I got my hands on one (post coming soon by the way). Just like any accessory, which I consider it, it really is how you style it. And as I was looking online today, I found 20 plus size faux fur vests you just might consider.
I feel like every culture has their own connection to music. As a Latina, it was definitely a part of my life from the moment I was born. From family events, cooking in the kitchen, or just hanging out—music was always playing. And I’m not just talking about one kind of music. I grew up listening to mariachis at my grandmas, Classic Rock in my dad’s garage, and Pop music on my Walkman. So, when I got an invite from JCPenney to attend iHeartRadio’s Fiesta Latina in Miami VIP style, I immediately said yes! I found out later that this included getting glammed up in the JCPenney Glam Suite before the show.

When I was a kid, my mom was an avid Kmart shopper. We would go there for pretty much everything. Yes, that even included a stop at their snack bar for popcorn and a slushy drink, if we were good. And no matter what, we always waited for one thing. Yes, you know what I’m talking about. We always had our ears open for the next Bluelight Special! Well, guess what guys? “Attention Kmart Shoppers!” Bluelight Specials are back!
I know what you’re thinking. It’s not even Thanksgiving yet and we’re already thinking of spring fashion! Believe me, I feel the same way. But, at the same time. I’m like…”let me see what you’ve got!” And in the world of fashion, they are months ahead of the seasons. I wasn’t able to make it to Lane Bryant’s New York City preview, so I got my hands on the spring lookbook instead!
You may have read about my always stylish and supportive friend Ivory. I can always count on her for style inspiration and wise words. One thing she taught me was to try clothes on, regardless of what the size is on the label. If it looks like it might fight, just try it on and see. Sometimes it doesn’t fit and sometimes it fits like a glove! Besides, we all know that not all fashion brands are sized the same. Some run bigger than others.
Hey guys, Jeshua here. We are in the season of change. The nip of the cold air greets greets our faces with that all-to-familiar bite, leaves make their descent into our driveways and lawns. The pumpkin displays and cobwebs have our minds thinking of fall. While we are busy saddling up for the bitter cold months ahead (note: I’m writing this from New York City…not my normal warm sunny SoCal L.A. home) the fashion world is already geared up for next spring! But why wait for spring to see what’ new? I got the chance to attend a previewing of what’s to come and I’m stoked to share!
