I’m happy to report that it’s finally starting to feel like sweater weather around here. You don’t even know how happy that makes me. I’m a huge fan of chilly weather. I know you East Coasters probably think I’m crazy, but when you live in L.A. it’s not something you’re used to. This gloomy day helped me realize that it’s time to stock up on cozy sweaters.

COVERGIRL knows how to throw a party. Last night, they kicked off the MTV Video Music Awards with a pre-party featuring performances by Becky G and Jessie J. Yes, they are not only “Easy, Breezy, and Beautiful,” but they’re both extremely amazing performers. Total girl power! Sigh…I miss school. Yes, I’m one of those people. I love history, writing papers, researching, and all of that good stuff. But, one of my favorite things ever was the back-to-school shopping. Are you ready? Let’s go back to the 90’s. I just realized that was ummmmm…over 20 years ago. I’m proud to say I was killing it back then with my style! Thanks to my mom of course. I think what I loved the most about 90s fashion trends were the floral baby doll dresses and Dr. Martens boots. Yes, I went there. Well, just like all trends, they tend to circle back and this seems to be the style of the moment.
