Oh sequins…why do I love you so much? It has clearly become a little bit of an obsession. Especially, when I’m online searching for anything covered in sequins. I do this for you guys…I swear. I am definitely going to blame the holidays on this one. Even though we all know you can wear them anytime of the year. Yes, you can! If you’re a lover of all things sparkly, but don’t want to spend too much, I found a few sequin pieces, from accessories to plus size dresses, that caught my eye and are all under $50. Boho Holiday

As much as I love wearing sequins during the holiday’s, sometimes I like to mix things up and try something a little different. If you’re all about an unconventional holiday look, but still want that drama, then I think the Lavish Alice Floaty Sleeve Playsuit from Simply Be might be your thing. It’s the ultimate party romper in one of my favorite colors and it has serious boho vibes! I saw this online and instantly had to have it. I loved it so much, that I forgot one little thing about me and the rompers. Because I have a bigger-than-average-sized chest,…

Holiday Sparkle

What would the holidays be without a little sparkle…or a lot of sparkle? I know a lot of you think sequins can be cliche around this time of year—but who cares?  It’s time to get festive people! I am obsessed with them (in my own way). And now is the time to sparkle guys! Lane Bryant knows my obsession all too well and sent over their Sequin Dress with Chiffon. I see it as more of an elegant way to do sequins this holiday season. The first thing that caught my eye about this dress was the dark gray color. Most people…

Pattern Play My Way

When it comes to mixing patterns, I can honestly admit I like to take tiny little baby steps. Anyone can throw on a few patterns and walk out the door. Not me. I’m still cautious when it comes to some styling adventures. But, I am trying. Inspired by all of the daring fashionistas out there—I attempted mixing patterns of two of my favorite accessories. You may have seen me wear this Kamali Kulture dress here in New York City. This time, I wanted to warm it up with a pair of houndstooth printed tights and ankle boots that Lane Bryant…

My JCPenney Glam Suite Experience at iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina

JCP Glam Suite 46
I feel like every culture has their own connection to music. As a Latina, it was definitely a part of my life from the moment I was born. From family events, cooking in the kitchen, or just hanging out—music was always playing. And I’m not just talking about one kind of music. I grew up listening to mariachis at my grandmas, Classic Rock in my dad’s garage, and Pop music on my Walkman. So, when I got an invite from JCPenney to attend iHeartRadio’s Fiesta Latina in Miami VIP style, I immediately said yes! I found out later that this included getting glammed up in the JCPenney Glam Suite before the show.

The decision to get dressed up for Halloween shouldn’t be a difficult one. When asked, the answer should always be “Yes!” I mean, why not? There’s no reason we should miss out on the fun. Did you know, according to Kmart, more than 67% of American’s believe that Halloween isn’t just for kids? And this year it lands on a Saturday—that’s even more reason to dress up and join the spookiness!

Lane Bryant #CombatCancer Event / Video Recap

I was completely honored when Lane Bryant asked me to co-host their #CombatCancer event with the American Cancer Society. I couldn’t say “YES” fast enough. Hosting this event has inspired me to do more, including raise money for the American Cancer Society by walking in the Making Strides Los Angeles walk for breast cancer. I made sure to recap this special event, because it meant so much to me to be a part of this day.
