If you follow me on social media, then you know that I was recently in New York. I was invited out by Lane Bryant for a blogger discussion. More on that to come later. But, during this meeting I had a chance to sit at a table with LB President and CEO Linda Heasley. We talked about a lot of things, including a discussion about styling flare jeans. Funny thing was, I actually had a post drafted before I left for this trip. This was just a sign that I had to follow through and write about the latest denim trend. Read more

There are a lot of words out there to describe who I am as a person—inside and out. I try not to get caught up in labels, but I sometimes feel like it’s necessary. Especially, when they can help motivate, inspire, or empower others. That’s why I’m so excited and very proud to work with Simply Be on their latest campaign—#SimplyBeYourself. Read more
I’ve always had a very interesting relationship with bras…more like a lot of bra pet peeves. Because I wear a DD cup size, I’m always shopping the full figured section. If you’re in the same boat, then you know that finding sexy bras for breasts our size is a challenge. And if we do find a style we like, the majority of the time, the fit is horrible. That’s where the pet peeves come in. Like straps digging into your shoulders, under boob, and even breasts spilling out. I don’t know about you, but I can’t feel sexy if I’m uncomfortable. Crème Bralée wants to change all of that by crafting beautiful and supportive lingerie for the full-busted and full-figured woman. Read more

I wouldn’t say I was obsessed with Urban Decay…OK…maybe a little bit. Just a tiny bit. Can you blame me? They are pretty amazing. I’d love to give a special shout out to Kia who loaned us the 2015 Kia Optima for the road portion of our trip. Take a look at the video and please don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!
There’s just something about an indie designer who isn’t afraid to explore all avenues of fashion. I think that’s why I’m such a big fan of Zelie For She. Elann, founder and designer, loves to step outside of the box and create pieces for every one. Her latest collection ‘Stripped’ is the perfect example. Read more

I miss being a kid. Going back to school was always so much fun. Well…mostly because I got to wear my new clothes, carry my cute lunchbox, and stuff my backpack with all kinds of cool accessories. You know, all that comes along with the first day of school. Ahhhhh…the good old days. I still feel like today’s fashion for kid’s and teens is so much cooler than when I was growing up. I was taking a look at the Kmart Back to School page and they have the cutest stuff. Read more
