Who is Manon Baptiste?

I’m on an official mission to find out who designer Manon Baptiste is. Do you know?I think he/she might be a French designer. I’m on Navabi.us and I’ve noticed a lot of this designer’s pieces are sold out. And I can’t for the life of me, find any more information about this designer on the internet. It’s driving me crazy. LOL. Sorry, I’m anal like that. These are my two favorite pieces and for designer fashion, the prices aren’t too bad. I am loving how these just hug the natural curves of the body. Don’t you just love that? The first dress…

Staying Golden with Midnight Velvet

What did you wear during the Memorial Day weekend? If you you had weather like us in Los Angeles, then you’d probably wear something similar to my outfit-a flowy dress and sandals. It’s kind of the perfect combo for a beautiful day.We hosted a small barbecue at my apartment and I wanted to wear something chic. I made sure to wear this Golden Paisley Dress that Midnight Velvet sent me.This dress is so feminine with it’s golden paisley design, beads, and sequins. I know you can’t see them (sorry), but there are adjustable spaghetti straps under my hair. Which I loved! There is…

Chiffon is Chic!

It’s about to get real classy up in here…make room for chiffon ladies. Chiffon is that material that was usually saved for special occassion dresses. Not anymore. I have seen this trend every where. And I really think any age or size can wear it in almost any color. There are so many different styles and it’s used different ways. Personally, I love when it’s used on the sleeves. Just so you know, I am literally lusting after #4 from Dorothy Perkins and if someone buys it before I do…I just might scream.Which chiffon piece below caught your eye? 1. Dorothy…

Maxi Dress Heaven with City Chic

I’ve already told you I’m obsessed with maxi dresses this season. And this one from City Chic is no exception. I wore this at the opening of the About Face exhibit and I never felt more sexy. Seriously, it’s a va-va-voom dress in the chest area. Meaning, it showed a lot of cleavage. LOL. The dress is no longer available on CityChicOnline.com. Sorry, but there are tons of other pretty dresses. I paired it with gold earrings, a black cascading cardigan, Nine West open-toed pumps, and my new fave Melie Bianco clutch. I wore the dress again on my birthday…

Tracy & City Chic on the Latin Billboard Award’s Red Carpet

Guest post written by Tracy López of Latinaish.comI was invited to the Latin Billboard Awards and red carpet, courtesy of Telemundo. One of my first thoughts after receiving the invitation, (after, “OMG! I could meet Espinoza Paz or Pitbull!”) – was, “What in the world am I going to wear?!”A smart friend recommended I contact Monique for advice and Monique did me one better – she hooked me up with CityChicOnline.com. They asked me to pick a dress, so after consulting about a dozen friends about three different dresses I liked on their website, the choice was obvious. Overwhelmingly my friends…
