Are you ready? Let’s go back to the 90’s. I just realized that was ummmmm…over 20 years ago. I’m proud to say I was killing it back then with my style! Thanks to my mom of course. I think what I loved the most about 90s fashion trends were the floral baby doll dresses and Dr. Martens boots. Yes, I went there. Well, just like all trends, they tend to circle back and this seems to be the style of the moment.
There are perks to this blogger life. Like meeting amazing people, who turn into awesome friends. It doesn’t happen all of the time, but when it does—it’s golden. Elann Zelie is one of those awesome friends. I’ve written about her line Zelie for She before. You know I love her style and passion for creating fashion. And yes, she is passionate about it! She gifted me a piece from her latest collection and I wore it proud. In fact, I can’t wait to wear it again.
I’ll be the first person to admit I’m not a fan of the intense heat. But, I do love summer in Los Angeles, it’s not too unbearable (like other cities). Now, if it could stay 75 degrees the entire season—I’d be a happy Angeleno (we know it won’t). And since it seems like I’m always on-the-go lately, I have to make sure this chick stays cool and refreshed while I hit the streets. That means a bag of necessities and these summer tips (courtesy of Bottled Starbucks® Iced Coffee) that will beat the heat.
Sure pineapple’s are sweet, delicious, and remind us of sitting on a beach sipping a piña colada. Mmmmmmmm…Anyways, did you know the pineapple print trend is ready to invade? Well, apparently it is. Because, I found a lot of it…yes even a few pieces for us plus size gals. And of course I had to share it with you here. Below, you’ll find a few ways you can show your love and support to the tropical fruit.
It’s that time of year again, when rompers start to pop up every where. I personally love them. As you can see here, when I wore this floral one from Torrid. OK, it’s been a while since I’ve worn one, but that’s because I haven’t found the perfect plus size romper. You know, one that is not too short for starters. And it has to fit in all the right places. We all have our criteria for certain styles of clothing, don’t we? Besides, I think the romper is definitely a love or hate item.
For some odd reason, people seem to think that those of us who wear plus sizes can’t wear crop tops. Ummm…wrong! Yes, it’s consider a more daring fashion statement, but anyone can wear one—no matter their size. The only problem we may have is finding plus size crop tops that are stylish. There’s no need to worry, you know I wouldn’t leave you hanging like that.
