Whenever someone mentions Miami, I can’t help but think of sunny days, beautiful beaches, and nightlife. I’ve been there a handful of times and I have to admit, it is one of my favorite places to visit. But, what if I told you that there’s more to this place than the obvious? Yes, there is a whole other side filled with art, music, food, and history in the heart of Downtown Miami. While I was in town for Hispanicize, I was invited out by the Miami Downtown Development Authority for a tour. And little did I know I was about…
I have a very important question for you. I want to know when you feel most beautiful. I asked 24 women, who are also social media influencers, this question and I wanted to share it with you guys. I created this special video here in Miami at Hispanicize and it’s so great to hear all of their different responses. So, take a look and don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!
I recently wrote a post featuring 20 plus size faux fur vests that I was loving. Of course, this inspired me to make a quick video sharing five easy ways on how to style a faux fur vest. In other words, how I’d style one. These are my tips, but I always encourage you to celebrate your personal style and creativity in every outfit you rock. In the video, I’m wearing the Bisou Bisou Reversible Faux Fur Vest in a 1X from JCPenney. Would you like to see more style videos like this? Don’t forget to subscribe to my channel…
New York City’s Times Square has never seen anything like Lane Bryant’s #PlusIsEqual Times Square takeover! Women of all sizes made their way into one of the busiest places on this planet to make their presence known. And I am so amazingly proud to have been invited out by Lane Bryant to not only experience it, but to let my voice be heard! Of course, I couldn’t leave you guys hanging. I made sure to broadcast the entire event live via Periscope. If you didn’t get a chance to view it…no worries! I have photos and video of that amazing day to share with you right now!
It seems like I’m on some kind of roll here when it comes to creating videos! On my recent NYC trip, I headed over to the Crème Bralée showroom to chat with Liz Marrell, design and creative director at Q-T Intimates. We go over a few of their favorite bras and panties. So you know, most of their bras go up to a G-cup and one goes up to a K-cup. And they’re always looking to expand on their sizes. Go ahead and watch the video and please don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel.
Oh…oh…watch out. I put together another vlog for you guys. And this time it’s a #CurvyGirlTravels adventure. I take you guys with me as I travel across the country to Maine for my best friend’s wedding. I was a member of the bridal party and I was beyond excited to be a part of her special day. I’d love to give a special shout out to Kia who loaned us the 2015 Kia Optima for the road portion of our trip. Take a look at the video and please don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel!

The New York City whirlwind that is Full Figured Fashion Week ended just as I imagined it would—an evening bursting with plus size fashion on the runway. On this night retailers and boutiques had a chance to show us their latest and favorite styles. And we even had a performance from The Glamazons. A big thank you to Fit For Me, the premier sponsor, for having me as one of their blogger ambassadors! I had a seat in the front row with an amazing view of the runway.
Drybar…where have you been my entire life? I can’t believe I’ve gone this long without visiting you. And now you have this new Mudslide Treatment to give my hair the yumminess it needs. Yes, we are now officially BFF’s. I was invited out by Dry Bar to experience this new treatment and all that is wonderful of this magical place. I even created a little video!
I have always been a fan of actress Drew Barrymore. Maybe it’s her free spirit…or the fact that’s she’s a great actress. So, when she debuted her beauty line Flower a few year’s ago, I was really excited. I use her Kiss Stick Velvet Lip Color in ‘Get to the Poinsettia’ religiously. I’m still experimenting with some of the other products. I did get my hands on one of the mascaras. Check out this Zoom-In Ultimate Mascara review. The relationship with our hair is a funny thing. We love it one minute, then we’re hating it the next—especially when it won’t do what we want it to do. In the end, it’s love that wins, because when you ask people to cut their luscious locks they’re pretty hesitant to do it. Or when someone loses it, beyond their own control, it can be devastating. That’s why I was more than happy to donate 10-inches of my own hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths on National Donate Your Hair Day (NDYHD).
