Bet you didn’t know that red is one of my favorite colors. Yup! Love it. I don’t know why I haven’t been wearing much of it lately, but that just might change. This is a color that works pretty much in any season. I’ve found a few things I wouldn’t mind rocking. Which one is your favorite? Read more
We all know that trends come and go…some faster than others. Sometimes quicker than we’d like. So, while I have your attention, here are a few trends I’m loving right now!
I can’t seem to keep my eyes off all of the bold prints and bright colors I’m seeing everywhere. It all started with this chic red, black, and white Anne Klein dress (below). There’s just something about it. I want it so bad! Surprise Surprise…I think I have a serious “want” problem. Aye…anywhoo take a look below and let me know which looks have caught your eye. Read more
Hey my loves! The past few days have been super crazy! I was selected at one of 70 Latina bloggers to go to Washington D.C. and visit with The White House. It was so surreal! Read more
The maxi dresses and I go way back…I love them. I can seriously wear them from spring through summer, ask anyone. They never go out of style and I doubt they ever will (crossing fingers). Read more
Spring is here and we already know what the trends are. Don’t we? Well if you don’t this might help you out. Today, I was looking around the Bloomingdales web site and I came across their plus spring style guide. It caught my eye and wanted to share it with you. Which trend is your favorite?
You know it’s all about bright colors this spring! And now blazers are definitely getting in on the action. I know we always complain that we can’t find blazers in our sizes, but I think I might have you covered. I found a few below that are not only in amazingly bold colors, but they come in a range of plus sizes and prices. And they aren’t that traditional blazer style either. Check out the cropped style from Jessica London or this beautiful wrapped style from Ashley Stewart. Throw it over a spring dress or with a pair of your hottest skinny jeans with a tank underneath. Instant hot outfit!
Which blazer below do you love?
The “Hi-Lo” or “High-Low” dress is kind of my latest obsession. With it’s high hem in the front and low hem in the back (hence the name), it’s really an eye-catching style. As you can see, they come in all kinds of colors and prints. You may eve find a skirt here or there. This really is a “love em’ or hate’em” kind of dress. So, what do you think?

I’m in the mood for loooooove. Sorry, I’m a Valentine’s Day kind of girl. And when I start thinking of this day, nothing but hearts come to mind. Accessorizing with any of these pieces above will make your day a lot more “lovely.” Sorry, I had to do it. LOL!

It’s polka dot time again! Although the black with white dots color scheme is the original, you’re not limited to just those colors. Let’s get a little adventurous and try something a little different. You can find polka dots in lots of different color combos and sizes-from tiny to big. And if you’re one of those that doesn’t like to wear prints, you can grab an accessory like a shoe, scarf, handbag, and even an umbrella. No excuses!

Are you ready for spring? There are a lot of great trends coming our way. One trend that’s really caught my eye would have to be pastel colors. These colors are like a pale version of your favorite colors. Some people usually think of pink or yellow, but this one is a pale version of green. It’s mint and it’s one color that really stands out to me. I saw this amazing nail polish and a pair of heels the other day and I can’t get the color out of my head. I’m already trying to figure out what I’d wear with it. Oh great…now I’m craving mint chocolate chip ice cream. LOL!
Will you be wearing mint this spring?
Look mom! I like something besides sequins! Yes, my loves, I’m venturing into metallics. Whether it’s a top, jacket, shoe, or even a handbag-getting in on the shine will make you stand out. And if you don’t want to go all out, then why not add something with a touch of metallic. It’s a great way to break up an all-black outfit.
I put together a few collages below. The first three are outfits with a few touches of metallic. Each one has it’s twist. Then you have a selection of a few bags and clutches I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on, especially this one from ASOS (right). Then I venture into shoes…of course. Ughhhh dying over these shoes. Are you drooling yet?
