When you think of Payless ShoeSource, you think of stylish shoes at affordable prices, right? You don’t think of bath and beauty products.
Well, it’s time to change that train of thought. They are now offering bath, beauty, and fragrance products at affordable prices.
I found this out a few months ago, when I was sent a free sample of their “green” and natural beauty products by Zoe&Zac.
I will admit I am totally in love with the Bamboo White Tea Body Mist ($7.99). It’s such a light and fresh scent…so dreamy.
The Zoe&Zac beauty line is exclusive to Payless and consists of makeup, bath & body, fragrances, nail polish, and gift sets. I’m dying to try one of their Eye & Lip Palettes. Preferably, the Forest Blooms Eye & Lip Palette ($9.99). They colors remind me of spring.
Created by Summer Rayne Oakes, the line is free of Parabens and Phthalates, not tested on animals, and all packaging is recyclable.
Have you tried any of the Zoe&Zac beauty products? Tell us what you think!
**Disclosure: I was NOT paid for this post. The above is my true and honest opinion.

Bargainistas rejoice! The Nordstrom Rack is now online! I know you’re jumping for joy right at this moment. I love this store, but because of the “demographics” the one closest to my house doesn’t carry an plus sizes. That makes me a grumpy shopper. And no one likes a grumpy shopper.
Now I get to shop online for Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Caslon, Rachel Pally, Adriana Papell, and more for up to 70% off! I need to catch my breath.
What do you think? Are excited to shop “The Rack” online?
You’ve heard me describe myself time and time again as a bargainista. I do love a good bargain, but sometimes I do crave the finer designers in life.
If I was a rich girl, I would definitely be wearing designers that you would only find at high-end department stores like Sakes Fifth Avenue and their Salon Z.
Salon Z carries pieces in sizes 14-24 by designers such as Michael Kors, Eileen Fisher, Amanda Uprichard, David Meister, Elie Tahari, Design History, Juicy Couture, and more.
I have been in love with Amanda Uprichard’s pieces since the first day I saw them. The cut of the designs look like they really accentuate a woman’s curves.
Below are some item’s I’d love in my shopping cart. Most of them are dresses and tunics, but there is an Eileen Fisher coat that I’d love to have! If only I was a rich girl…
Do you shop at Saks? What are some of your favorite high-end designers?
You thought it was just a fad.
You were told curvy girls couldn’t wear them.
You tried them on and uncertainty set in.
Now, every where you turn you see them. On the street and in the mirror, it doesn’t look like skinny jeans are going anywhere. Different from a “jegging” the skinny jean has made it into the hearts of fashionistas everywhere. You can call them cigarette pants, pencil pants, skinny pants or skinnies.
Originating in the 1950’s, they made a comeback in the 80’s, and now men are even wearing them?
I will admit, I was a skeptic at first. I tried on a pair at Torrid and I wasn’t sold on them. In fact, I kind of cringed as I looked in the mirror. But, today I own a few pairs and I love them. Skinny jeans go great with a flowy top or chunky knit sweater and a pair of my favorite boots.
This curve flaunting style has made it beyond it’s 15 minutes, but are you embracing it? Do you long for boot leg, wide leg, and flare cut jeans?
One of your favorite shoe brands, Nine West, has just launched Shoelaborations, a new collaboration project that will bring the vision of international trendsetters, artists, and designers to you.
The first collection, from French designer Sophie Theallet, is already in stores for spring/summer 2011. The “Sophie Theallet for Nine West” collection tells the story of “Sophie from Paris Takes a Trip to NYC” and includes uniquely designed pieces that are Sophie’s take on summer essentials: a ballet flat, a double platform sandal, a raffia wedge, two satchels, as well as a charm necklace and bracelet.
The collection is said to be exturally rich, colorful and feminine. The pieces will express Sophie’s design aesthetic and French sensibility.
“Partnering with a well-established footwear and accessories business such as Nine West has given me the opportunity to live out my life-long dream of designing on a larger scale. I was able to take one of my favorite patterns and create a collection that captures both my design aesthetic and the spirit of the Nine West brand.” -Sophie Theallet
Avant Garde designer Giles Deacon’s collection is slated for fall 2011. The British designer will debut the “Giles Deacon for Nine West” collection and will be “cutting-edge in its incorporation of technology in a fashion-forward way.”

Most curvy gals can’t shop at the affordable mall favorite Charlotte Russe. They don’t make clothes for us. In fact, every time I walk in there I always head right over to the accessories. Here are a few necklaces, handbags, and shoes that would make my spring shopping list in an instant! And everything featured in this post is $40 and under.
Don’t you hate having to justify things you’ve purchased? I can’t help it that this pair of shoes (below) just had to be mine! They were literally saying my name as I walked past them. OK, maybe not, but once I picked them up I couldn’t put them down.
What you’re reading now is what I told my husband as I plead my case on why I had to buy these shoes. Don’t worry, it worked out in my favor. I brought out the whole “Do you know how much you spend on your video games?” That always works when I try and reverse the guilt.
There should be no need to justify such beautiful pink peep-toe sling back platform pumps from Guess. If I really want to dig deep down inside and get all therapist on you; I could say I probably feel this way due to guilt. Guilt from not being employed full time? Whatever it is, I don’t like doing it.
From now on, if I like something I buy. At a reasonable price of course and there’s no more excuses. That’s it. The end. Finito.
