Being on a budget is not working for me! Look at what I found at Maurices! Darn e-window shopping! I’m definitely in the mood for coral and denim. Especially, the cutoff shorts. Which I can probably do at home…hmmm…lightbulb! This budgeting is inspiring DIY projects. I guess that’s a good thing. Right?
Yes…this chick went on a little shopping excursion yesterday. I finally made it out to the “Bargainista” shopping center. You know…the one with Marshalls, Ross, Old Navy, and Nordstrom Rack. I didn’t make it to Nordstrom Rack…booooo!
This (left) is what I wore, but I think I look yuck…so I played with the pic a little bit. Anywhoodles…
I had been in the market for a simple black cross body handbag, but I didn’t want to pay too much for one. Considering I go through handbags like crazy. This Nine West bag is perfect and it was only $22!
The shoes were a steal…the peep toe Madden Girl’s were on clearance for $20 and the tan gladiator wedge was $14.99. I can’t wait to wear them!
I also picked up two tee’s on clearance at Old Navy. My work is never done!
Starting tomorrow, Thursday 3/25, ideeli.com will have Marina Rinaldi sportswear and dresses starting at $49 and up! But, you have to be a member to get the exclusive savings. That’s up to 69% off retail prices!
This my friends…is what happens when I stay home bored with my cell phone. No, I’m not embarrassed of these pics. I am pretty embarrassed that this curvy butt is not sitting in a pub somewhere in L.A. on St. Patrick’s Day. This is me “au natural’ and ready to go to bed. I hope you had a better night than I did. I’m pooped. I spent all day with my mom shopping at thrift stores. I picked up a snakeskin clutch…but nothing else caught my eye. Oh well…they just opened a Ross at the Beverly Connection. Now I have an Old Navy, Marshalls, Nordstrom Rack, and Ross all in one place. Bargainista heaven!
I don’t know about you…but I’m exhausted again. Monday’s always kick my butt. Of course I don’t have any outfits to post, cause I suck. Sorry. But, I do want to show you the three handbags I picked up at the local thrift store. There were so many bags, it was insane. I love the vintage look of all three. And I only spent a grand whopping total of $5! Man, I’m good!
I spent time with friends and family on Saturday, too much fun if you ask me. Sunday was a very blessed day. My hubby grilled up some steaks and made me dinner. I asked him if he needed me to do anything…and he said…”yeah, relax.” Awwwww…I love this guy. Lol. Ok, now that I’ve made you sick…I’m outtie!
I was such a bargain shopper this past weekend! I know I said I might post a video, but it looks like it’s not happening. Sorry. Instead, I am posting a few pics of what I bought. The shoes are by Candie’s and only cost $5!! I know!! They are a plum color and I’ve already broken them in. Bargainista should be my middle name. Also, belts have become my new favorite accessory. The top belt is by Betsey Johnson and I adore it! You already know I’m not daring when it comes to prints, but I am going out on a limb here and I bought a few pieces. I’ve worn the dresses and they are very comfy. The necklace is by Avril Lavigne, I don’t know if you can tell but it’s fuchsia. It was on clearance…of course! Lol.
I’m broke as a joke…so I will e-window shop…again. I was browsing the Torrid web site and I fell for these 4 pieces. Oh Torrid…why must you be a little too pricey for this blogger on a budget? It’s ok…I will survive. I’m hitting up the Goodwill tomorrow to see what I can find. That will hold me over until the weekend. My name is Monique and I’m a shopaholic!
I knew there was a reason I loved Betsey Johnson. I was e-window shopping on Nordstrom.com…like always, and I fell in love. She really knows the female body. Now, if only we could get her regular line in plus size. Here’s to wishful thinking.
Today was a beautiful day! I spent the day with my mom, dad, and my little brother. My parents are divorced so spending time with both at the same time is rare. Look at the cute dress my mom gave me! She’s too sweet.
We had lunch together, then spent a couple of hours at thrift stores.Yay! Bargain shopping at its best. I dressed super comfy, in my favorite boots of course. Very casual…kinda boring actually. I wanted to add a simple scarf, but it was a little warm here in L.A. I found a lot of great things, but I’m in a “what I need” more than “what I want” shopping mode. I picked up that cargo blazer and two skinny belts. Spent a total of $8!! I think I might head out again this weekend. Wish me luck!
