I remember being a little girl and always shopping at Payless Shoe Source. I’m going to be honest, at that time the quality of the shoes weren’t that great, but they were affordable. And believe me we were always on a budget. Today, Payless is so different. You have designers like Lela Rose, Christian Siriano, and Isabel Toledo creating pieces. They are trendy and still affordable. Love it! Read more
I’m so in love with Dolce Vita shoes. I wish they offered shoe-a-holics a lifetime membership. You just pay a yearly fee and they just send you shoes when they come out. Yeah, I know there are a lot of shoe companies like this, but I want Dolce Vita! If they did, I’d be one happy girl.
Just look! This round of new arrivals has really caught my attention. It’s like little bits of suede deliciousness. Read more
As I sit here trying to recover from this dumb cold, I’m wishing I was at a cool Halloween
party instead. So, what does a bored blogger do on a Saturday night? Surf the internet of course. And I just realized I need a new pair of shoes. I haven’t bought any in a while and I think I’m due. Read more
Why do I always find shoes I can’t have. It’s like we were meant to be together, but it just isn’t going to happen. Isn’t this always the story of my shoe life.
If you read this blog, then you know my love for shoes…especially Dolce Vita. Say hello to Rosetta, Dahlia, Briar, and Jemma. Aren’t they beauties? As I get ready for fall, I can’t help but think ahead and start looking for new shoes. I don’t normally buy suede, for many reasons, but these are true inspiration aren’t they? I will take one of each please. Now, if only the Shoe Gods will listen… Read more
I’m in the mood for color, as you can tell. First coral, now this lime green “Intense Sandal” by Two Lips. A statement shoe like this could really brighten up any outfit. Especially, an all white ensemble. I have decided I really need these in my closet. What do you think? Read more
I’ve always loved the saying “April showers bring May flowers.” I might love the cold season, but I also love the spring weather. The saying reminds me that blooming flowers are almost here. I can smell them now. Read more
Clearly I am having some type of shoe obsession! I don’t know what it is, but I need shoes! Raise your hand if you’re with me? And doesn’t there always seems to be an occasion that requires the purchase of new shoes. Of course all the shoes I want are $99 and over! Somehow, the hot shoes and I are always separated. We’re kind of like Romeo and Juliet. We’re destined to be together, but other circumstances keep us apart…like no money. Except, I don’t think I would die for them. So, maybe we aren’t like Romeo and Juliet after all. See how these hot shoes mess with my mind!! Read more
Dear Dolce Vita,
I love your shoes. Although, I’ve never owned a pair, I fall in love every time I see a pair and try them on. I just want you to know that if I ever come across a couple of hundred dollars, I will buy these three pairs above. They would probably make my feet melt, because they are so HOT!
Thank you. Read more
When spring and summer hit, I can’t wait to pull out my wedge sandals. They go great with practically anything. I would take all of these above! Stupid budgeting. Read more
Tassles and Fringe? Yes…tassles and fringe. They’re adding some “Oomph” to your feet. Read more
I promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Here it goes. I use to think gladiator sandals were ugly. There! I said it. But, now they are all that I want to wear for spring and summer. I am also a big fan of the slouchy ‘nomad’ sandal. It’s like playing dress-up, with your feet. I still love my flip-flops, don’t get me wrong. But, I think it’s time to step out in a different style.
