I’m going to be honest, I was never a fan of the faux fur vest. I really wasn’t. That is until I got my hands on one (post coming soon by the way). Just like any accessory, which I consider it, it really is how you style it. And as I was looking online today, I found 20 plus size faux fur vests you just might consider. Read more
Marsala may be Pantone’s color of the year for 2015, but it’s always been one of my favorite colors. Personally, I call it burgundy or wine. Whatever you call it, this deep and dark red is shade is a favorite whenever fall hits. Which is basically now. Of course, I did some looking online and found some Marsala plus size pieces that I’d love to add to my fall wardrobe. Read more
If there’s one thing that bugs me the most about the plus size fashion industry, it’s the lack of true representation when it comes to body shape and size diversity. Not every plus size woman has a flat stomach, is hour glass shaped, or is 5’9 or taller. I’m 5’6, a size 16/18, and I carry most of my weight in my stomach. Guys, it’s still hot here and it doesn’t look like the cooler fall temperatures will be here any time soon. So, I sit here dreaming of sweater weather. And like I always do, I found a few favorites that I wanted to share with you. Read more

Have you ever had one of those moments when you just saw something online and just had to have it? And then all of the stars align when you see that it’s not outrageously over-priced and it’s available in your size. Yes, that’s exactly what happened to me the moment I saw this bohemian-inspired paisley print dress. It was like we were meant to be together.
#PlusIsEqual is Lane Bryant’s latest campaign with a powerful message! Plus size woman want to be seen and represented in the fashion industry, the media, and in the world. They started by strategically placing a mysterious ad right smack in the middle of Vogue‘s huge September issue. There are a lot of words out there to describe who I am as a person—inside and out. I try not to get caught up in labels, but I sometimes feel like it’s necessary. Especially, when they can help motivate, inspire, or empower others. That’s why I’m so excited and very proud to work with Simply Be on their latest campaign—#SimplyBeYourself. Read more
