What do you wear on a sunny day in Los Angeles? A maxi dress! Not just any dress, but the Passion Flower Maxi (on sale $30) by City Chic. The Australian fashion retailer is really impressing me with the fit and quality of their designs. My hubby picked this dress and I’m so happy he did. It’s the perfect length for my 5’6 height. I really liked the slight draping in the front and the ruched band on the bust. My favorite part of the dress is the fact that it actually fit me in the chest area without falling down and being uncomfortable. I actually didn’t want to take the dress off, that’s how comfortable it is. Oh and I must point out that the shipping from City Chic is FREE and it got here in a few days. That makes me a happy shopper.
I accessorized this dress with my favorite pair of Nine West gladiator sandals, a coral ring from H&M, bracelets from Avenue, and a brass key necklace from Mindfulnest. I told you ladies I’m going to be a maxi dress wearing fool this spring and summer (LOL).
The word SALE is like music to my ears. And I’ve been very impressed with City Chic’s clothes lately. I even have a few reviews coming soon.
But, for now, go to CityChicOnline.com! Everything is 30% OFF (excluding already on sale items). Hmmm….so what do I want. Easter decisions are soooo hard to make.
*Sale ends at midnight on April 26.
Don’t you just love social media? I know I do. Say what you want about it, but it’s connecting us in ways we never thought was possible. Especially, on Facebook! Take a look at these three recent emails that landed in my inbox. All you have to do is “Like” them on Facebook.
Aren’t we in love with members-only (a.k.a flash) shopping sites? I know I am! And I definitely love the fact that a lot of them are finally catching on-curvy ladies love shopping too. Ideeli is one that caught on in 2010 and now they are regularly featuring special sizes. Yay!
The sales kick off every Wednesday at noon and feature designers like Adrianna Papell, Calvin Klein, Seven7, Antik, and more. They not only offer plus sizes, but they also offer petite sizes. Ideeli claims petite sizes are more underrepresented than plus! That’s crazy! The fashion industry can’t seriously believe on tall and thin women like fashion. I’m not even going to get started (LOL).
To shop Ideeli’s great amazing deals you need an invite…Of course I have one for you!! Join today, it’s FREE! Click on the link below.
There’s this little thing called Full Figured Fashion Week in New York City that I have to save up for. And I am TRYING not to do any shopping, unless it’s an emergency or something. And I have been TRYING to ignore the
Everyone’s favorite line ASOS Curve…well one of my favorite lines…has been getting a little vintage on us. And I like it! You’ll see from the pieces below that they’ve been inspired by the 50′s, 60′s, and 70′s. My jaw dropped when I saw the Full Dress with Variegated Stripes. I’m kind of in love. I would’ve worn this if I went to Coachella. I will admit, I was a “wanna be” hippie child when I was growing up. My dad had me listening to Jimi Hendrix and The Doors records. Remember records? Ohhhh the good ol’ days…just like the era’s that inspired the designs below. Ok, I’m totally showing my age here, but I don’t care. Fashion is timeless.

Many of you have come to me asking what to wear to a job interview. I will say, it really depends on the job. For a corporate position, you might not want to mess around. You should dress as professional as possible- without losing your personal style. Unfortunately, many businesses do rely on their employees appearance. That means they might want you to look “put together” for their clients. Here’s a little something I whipped up.
Today, I attended a luncheon at the gorgeous Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. I always feel so classy when I enter that place. That’s why I decided to wear this amazing

We are officially one week into the spring season. Even though it doesn’t seem like it in some parts of the country. The weather has been crazy! It’s supposed to be in the 70′s this week here in L.A.
One of my favorite things about spring is being able to layer. Because the weather is still mild and with today’s unpredictable weather, you have to be ready. It’s always changing.
That’s why during this time of the year, you start seeing a lot of linen peices. A linen blazer is great to use over a tank top or a spring dress, because it’s a lighter material than the wool or heavy cotton pieces we were wearing. Not to mention it’s pretty comfy. This
