OOTD: Feeling a Little Blue

I’m really not sad. LOL. I’m just loving this blue top! I bought this at a yard sale that was held by Stylist Reah Norman. Thanks Reah! It’s by Daniel Rainn and it has these amazing ruffles and pockets. You know how I feel about pockets. I wore it to a high school graduation last night. Which had a whopping 680 graduates by the way and it was in a sports arena! WOW. Back to the outfit…I went simple with my jewelery, only because the color was so bold. My earrings are these cute little rhinestone bows I bought at … Continue reading

L.A. Sunset and an Outfit

This is what I wore out tonight for dinner in Santa Monica. It was just a quick thrown together outfit. I grabbed my hubby to take the pics before the sun set. I don’t know if you can tell, but the sun was glaring into my eyes. LOL. These skinny jean capris are from Old Navy , this flowy crop top is from T.J.Maxx, and these are my new wedges from Aldo. Love them!!

My Closet: Lovedrobe’s Crochet Neck Dress

I was looking over some old outfit posts and I couldn’t help but notice how my style has evolved. I don’t follow any “rules” and I dress regardless of what people think. It’s how I feel in a garment that dictates my mood. For example, this Lovedrobe Crochet Neck Dress (£38.00) made me feel very flirty. Not that I was, but you know what I mean (LOL). The dress was a little too short for me, so I wore my Bali leggings underneath. My hubby was happy about that. I chose my trusty Nine West heels to wear out that night. … Continue reading

What I Wore: City Chic’s Passion Flower Maxi

What do you wear on a sunny day in Los Angeles? A maxi dress! Not just any dress, but the Passion Flower Maxi (on sale $30) by City Chic. The Australian fashion retailer is really impressing me with the fit and quality of their designs. My hubby picked this dress and I’m so happy he did. It’s the perfect length for my 5’6 height. I really liked the slight draping in the front and the ruched band on the bust. My favorite part of the dress is the fact that it actually fit me in the chest area without falling … Continue reading

Favorite Summer Dress?

Ok…I look yucky and I’m not too happy with these photos, but they’ll do. I just wanted to show you the outfit I wore on Saturday, for our little gathering. This is the dress I bought at H&M. It is very roomy. It’s a large and I think it would fit anyone up to a size 22. This may be my new favorite dress for the summer and it has pockets! Yay! The great thing about this dress is the print and the colors. It can be worn so many different ways! Dress; H&MBelt: Old NavyLeggings: TargetEarrings: Target

Back to reality

Once again, a fun weekend comes to an end. It sucks, but I guess I have to return to reality. Thanks a lot San Diego for making me fall in love with you. There is something about beach cities that I just can’t explain. When I visit them, I don’t want to leave. I fall more in love every single time. San Diego welcomed me, my hubby, and one of my bff’s with open arms. We ate, slept, ate, shopped, drank, and ate. We even went swimming, thank goodness the outdoor pool was heated! It was a lot of fun. … Continue reading

Fun, Friends, Food, and Family

Is tomorrow Monday…already? Wow! Time does fly when you’re having fun. And believe me, it was a weekend filled with fun, friends, food, and family. I love it! I’m so blessed. I celebrated my hubby’s birthday with a BBQ on Saturday. We had so many friends in this tiny apartment, but that’s OK. We all fit and had the best food! Carne Asada, chicken, riblets, rice, and salad…Yummy! And I totally forgot to take a picture of my outfit. Ooopsie! But, I did have the hubby snap a few of my outfit today. I wore this to a high school … Continue reading

Comfy to a Tee

If you’re a regular on this blog, then you should know how much I adore being comfy…remember…my number one rule. So, when Simply Be asked me choose a few things, I made sure to pick something that looked not only comfortable, but was a little different. OK, first of all please do not mind the crazy bangs and my makeup free face. Lol. And I warn you that these are my lounge looks. I’ll have a dressier look for you soon! Promise. I love the Frock & Frill Pageant Tee (#1)! I have gotten a lot of compliments on it … Continue reading

ASOS Curve…I love you.

It’s official…I’m in love with the ASOS Curve line. Ok, I may only have one purchase under my belt, but I’m sold. I know a lot of you love their clothes as well, so I had to buy something. Whenever I order something online, I try to buy something on clearance, just in case I don’t like the way it fits. This way I know I didn’t spend a lot of money on it (It’s the inner bargainista). As I scoured the clearance, I found the Woven Insert Tee (see pic above) for only $8.45 in white!! I wore it … Continue reading

L.A’s Beautiful Day

Another beautiful day in Los Angeles. It was so nice out, it made me want to throw a skirt on. That is rare! And you know me and my comfy clothes. Nothing restricting here! After a morning of doing laundry, I spent the day with my dad and even helped him get a new phone. A very simple cell phone by the way! No camera, no internet, and he blocked texting. He’s hilarious…my dad is very old school and I love him for that! After, we met up with my hubby for a delicious meal at my favorite (in the … Continue reading
