The New York City whirlwind that is Full Figured Fashion Week
ended just as I imagined it would—an evening bursting with plus size fashion on the runway. On this night retailers and boutiques had a chance to show us their latest and favorite styles. And we even had a performance from The Glamazons. A big thank you to Fit For Me
, the premier sponsor, for having me as one of their blogger ambassadors! I had a seat in the front row with an amazing view of the runway.

Whenever the Fourth of July rolls around, I make sure I’m prepared on all levels. For me, it’s more than BBQ’s and fireworks. This includes buying myself a red, white, and blue inspired outfit. Yes, I’m one of those patriotic chicks. Hello! I am a proud United States Air Force veteran. I love to show off my Independence Day spirit!

I love to write posts that I hope will inspire and encourage you to love yourself, especially on the outside. Believe me, I know it’s not easy. It’s a journey I’m still working on. And it doesn’t seem to get any easier whenever swimsuit season rolls around. The minute we hear the words “swimsuit shopping” we cringe.
Today’s gypsy is known as a free-spirit. Often roaming and traveling the world. Ever since I was a little babe, I’ve always felt I had that gypsy spirit. From my love of traveling and never really wanting to settle, to my ever changing—yet flowy style. And when I was putting together this latest look, the spirit was definitely there inspiring me.

Summer hasn’t even officially started, but that hasn’t stopped me from making sure I have what I’ll need on the hottest days in L.A. I feel like everyone has their own summer uniform and fashion favorites. Since, I’m all about being comfortable in any weather, I’m especially concerned about it when it’s hot out. That’s why my summer style has to have this one essential—the maxi dress.

Oh…swimsuit anxiety. You’re an evil one. Even the most confident women (ahem) get that uneasy feeling when they think of summer and the fact that swimsuit season is practically here. There’s just something that goes off in your head when you know you’re about to parade around others half naked in the bright summer sun. OK, that’s just how it goes in my head.
If you haven’t noticed, most of my outfits consist of blue denim jeans. What can I say? It’s an obsession. I love wearing them more than anything. Maybe I should do one of those dress challenges? Anyways, this past weekend I changed it up a little bit and threw on a pair of white denim. You know, cause it’s spring. Baby steps people. I also had a chance to wear this Rachel Pally top I picked up at her recent warehouse sale.
