OOTD: MAGIC’12 Outfits
Guess who overpacked for MAGIC? I told my hubby it was a good thing I wasn’t flying because I would have been paying for that extra weight. LOL! Have you ever done that? Overpacked, but hated almost everything in your suitcase? That was definitely me. So, what does any girl do when they don’t like their clothes? Go shopping of course. I stopped by the outlets on my way to Las Vegas and bought this beautiful asymmetrical BCBG Max Azria sweater. Thanks for convincing me Ivory! LOL! She’s always right. I wore it on the first day of MAGIC. Later … Continue reading

OOTD: Floral and Feminine
Look mom, I’m wearing a floral print! LOL! I don’t think I’ve worn anything like this in years. Seriously, in a very long time. Watch out people! The minute I saw the Ditsy Chiffon Dress on Torrid.com, I had to try it. This is a fun and feminine dress without showing too much. The sleeves are sheer and the length is perfect for me. It did show a little too much cleavage for my liking, so I added a black camisole underneath. It comes with a skinny patent leather black belt. I paired the dress with Torrid’s Black Opaque Tights. … Continue reading

OOTD: Super Print Super Bowl
Oh yeah…yesterday was the Super Bowl. It matters if you’re team was playing. Mine wasn’t…blah. Don’t get me started. Next year my Denver Broncos will dominate…just you wait. Anyways…if I didn’t already lose you, this is what I decided to wear for this eventful Sunday. We spent the day at the in-laws eating way too much. I knew this was going to happen, so I wanted to be super comfy. That’s where this printed Rachel Pally top came in (no longer available). I bought this at my second warehouse sale and it’s so comfy. It can also be worn as … Continue reading

OOTD: Living Grey in L.A.
Wow what a day…I spent the entire afternoon in Downtown L.A. learning about the art, music, and history of Los Angeles. I kind of felt like a tourist in my own city. It was an amazingly beautiful day. The top is by Inspired and my boots are Dollhouse. I’m wearing Torrid’s Sophia Blue Rinsed Skinny Jeans. They fit perfectly and I love that the waist is the right cut. I’m definitely not a low cut kind of girl. Do you prefer a certain cut over the other?
OOTD: Out with the Girls
I had an opportunity to hang out with some of my girls this weekend. After a long day, I didn’t want to wear anything too complicated, but I didn’t want to wear sweats out either. I decided to go with this beautiful Blue Crepe Lattice Cold-Shoulder from Torrid. I even threw my hair up in a high bun. I love the top, but after looking at these images, I feel like I should’ve chosen a smaller size. It’s supposed to have a flowy fit, but I think it’s a little too much for my shape. Now, this is something I’ve only … Continue reading
OOTD: A Night with Salt-N-Pepa
When I was in elementary school, I was in cheerleading and we put together a dance routine to “Push It” by Salt-N-Pepa. So innapropriate, I know! LOL! I’ve loved them ever since. Last night, I had the opportunity to attend a launch party for McDonald’s new Chicken McBites and guess who was performing? Yes!! Salt-N-Pepa!! I was too excited!! I didn’t know what to wear, then I remembered I had this jumpsuit from Torrid in my closet (not available). I threw on these heavy earrings from Forever21, ring from Torrid, and clutch from Dama Handbags. It was an awesome night. I … Continue reading
OOTD: Casually Denim
I can always count on my good friend Ivory for inspiration. If you haven’t had a chance to check out her blog (www.IvoryJinelle.blogspot.com) you’re missing out. She’s fashionably fearless. Love her…if you read my blog then you know I mention her a lot. Yesterday, I saw her wearing a denim jacket and it reminded me of the one I had sitting in my closet. I picked this one up at Forever 21 months ago and haven’t had a chance to wear it. And since it was a gloomy day here in L.A. I wanted to wear something comfy and casual. I’m … Continue reading

OOTD: The Grace Dress
The minute I laid eyes on the Queen Grace Collection sketches, almost 8 months ago, I knew it was something special. Then I had the pleasure of meeting the amazing woman behind the brand in New York City during Full Figure Fashion Week. Marina is such a genuine person. She’s amazingly sweet too! I told her I loved the “Grace” dress! It’s that edgy LBD I’ve always needed. My eyes lit up when I saw her designs come down the Full Figure Fashion Week runway. A few weeks later, she sent me the “Grace” dress…my fashion dream come true. The … Continue reading

OOTD: L’Oreal Paris Beauty Suite
This past weekend was a very L’Oreal Paris kind of weekend and I loved it. I wrote a recap about my Friday beauty experience here–> Getting Red Carpet Ready with L’Oreal Paris, it includes an awesome giveaway! I just wanted to post a few pics of my outfit. It was a very simple outfit with a pop of coral. I found this silk top while thrifting with my mom, it’s Lane Bryant. My jeans are Torrid and shoes are Steve Madden. It was such a great afternoon, can’t you tell by the smile on my face? LOL!
OOTD: Celebrating with The Curvy Fashionista
Hello my loves! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! I did! I was invited to celebrate the 3-year Blogaversary of The Curvy Fashionista, here in Los Angeles. Marie is a good friend of mine, so I was more than happy to support her. Besides, it was an awesome party! It was filled with not only bloggers, but family, friends, models, designers, celebs, and fans. It was also a great way to meet up with a lot of my friends. Unfortunately, I don’t have any photos of the night, but I did snap a photo of my outfit. And if … Continue reading
