I’ve been in a dress kind of mood lately. Growing up, I haaaaated wearing dresses.Even a few years ago, you wouldn’t see me in anything that showed my legs. I don’t know what was wrong with me, seriously. Today, I loooove dresses and I really love eShakti. I have a dress from them and it’s so divine. It really is. If you hadn’t had a chance to check them out, you really should.

You now have hundreds of amazing styles for you to select from our site, and you are sure to get the look you love with great fit and fall!
Here’s my eShakti wish list…which dress do you love?
*This is NOT a sponsored post. I just really like them!
Are you the kind of lady that likes to make a fashion statement? You know…someone that stands out in a crowd? I know a few brave ones. I unfortunately am not that brave. I’m usually the one who has wishes she had the the guts to step outside of my comfort zone, when it comes to fashion. If you read my blog, then you know I’ve said this many times before.
For example, last week I was browsing around the Plus Size Fix web site and found a few daring pieces. I instantly thought to myself…”Cute, but I could never pull that off.” Have you ever felt that way? I think almost everyone has had one of those moments.
Take a look at some of the “stand out” pieces below…which one would you rock?
You know the saying…a good man is hard to find. Well, I’ve changed it around a bit. A good dress is hard to find.
What do you have to do around here to find a dress that isn’t too short (butt hanging out) and too tight (my ribs are showing)? I will save all that for the bolder and more courageous curvy girls.
I will stick to the classic, yet chic silhouettes with a fun print. Please for the love of fashion. Don’t be afraid of prints! I know I say that all the time, but it’s true.
For me, these styles are so versatile. A lot of them are easy to dress up or down, day to night. You know me. I have to have options. Something like this strapless empire waist Donna Morgan dress (left). OK, I really want this dress.
Don’t worry my gorgeous UK readers, I didn’t forget about you. I found these printed dresses while searching the womens clothing catalogues of JD Williams. No fair, I wish they shipped to the U.S.
I guess all the good dresses are online. That’s where I found these. Time to get my online shopping on.
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. The above is my true and honest opinion.
You’re curvy, you adore Hip Hop, maybe you skate, and you love Streetwear fashion. I knew you were out there.
After spending time in New York City, I can definitely appreciate all types of fashion. Especially style that comes from the streets. I am so jealous of those who can actually pull it off. And now that streetwear had definitely gone retro, I’m getting flash backs just writing this.
I was checking out Def Shop, a Hip Hop and Streetwear online boutique from Europe, and I instantly fell for the retro inspired shoes. Especially, those nice sneakers, like the Nike’s. This is all sooooo 1980′s, from the Adidas bags, brightly colored watches, headphones, and wayfarer sunglasses. I hope I’m not showing my age here.
Don’t worry ladies. If the Hip Hop look isn’t for you, you can also get your bohemian chic look with brands like Flamenco Chic, Italy Style, and Coolway. They do have plus sizes too! And I need that blue scarf in my life.
Remember, the best thing about buying from a European store is the opportunity of buying brands that you can’t normally find in the U.S. Yay! for online shopping and international shipping.
I made my way over to Domino Dollhouse and was so inspired by their new Make Out Circus Collection! The pieces look so fun and I really love all the red! And I’m loving the models too (Go Tess!). Red always seems to be one of my favorite colors, regardless of the season. DD starts at size 14 and goes up. I love their saying.
Domino Dollhouse strives to bring exciting, charming, and fun clothing and accessories to a market thirsty for more. While others give you water, we give you fruit punch!
What’s your favorite piece below?

Bowie Metallic Leggings in Red $29.99
Bow Out Skirt in Red $45.99
Hot Sundae Tube Top in Red $38.99

If you must know…I love wearing sunglasses. Always have and always will. I don’t know where it started. But, I do know they not only offer style benefits, they also offer protection for your eyes. You will hear me say that over and over and over. And with all of the current trends from the 80′s and 90′s, you had to know that the sunglasses were going to get in on it. I saw a few of these retro styles at Torrid the other day and couldn’t help but try them on. Unfortunately, they didn’t really fit the shape of my face. That sucks! All I can do is look at you enjoy these retro style sunglasses. No fair.
The word SALE is like music to my ears. And I’ve been very impressed with City Chic’s clothes lately. I even have a few reviews coming soon.
But, for now, go to CityChicOnline.com! Everything is 30% OFF (excluding already on sale items). Hmmm….so what do I want. Easter decisions are soooo hard to make.
*Sale ends at midnight on April 26.
Aren’t we in love with members-only (a.k.a flash) shopping sites? I know I am! And I definitely love the fact that a lot of them are finally catching on-curvy ladies love shopping too. Ideeli is one that caught on in 2010 and now they are regularly featuring special sizes. Yay!
The sales kick off every Wednesday at noon and feature designers like Adrianna Papell, Calvin Klein, Seven7, Antik, and more. They not only offer plus sizes, but they also offer petite sizes. Ideeli claims petite sizes are more underrepresented than plus! That’s crazy! The fashion industry can’t seriously believe on tall and thin women like fashion. I’m not even going to get started (LOL).
To shop Ideeli’s great amazing deals you need an invite…Of course I have one for you!! Join today, it’s FREE! Click on the link below.
Buying that perfect pair of shoes can be a little stressful. When do you have time to shop? Are you always working or busy? Besides, how do you know what the hottest trend will be?
If any of this sounds like you, then maybe using an online personalized shoe shopper will help. Interested? I’ve found a few companies below that might help.
Basically, you tell them what your personal style is, pay a monthly fee, and they send you shoes based on your style. Keep in mind each company is a little different and the monthly fees vary. I’ve been interested in joining, but I’m a “gotta try on every shoe” kinda girl.
It simply is not fair. Why does the ASOS Curve line continue to tempt me? Their clothes are right up my alley; simply chic.
And why don’t they just hurry up and open a store in Los Angeles already? I know I sound like a broken record, but I…I mean “We” need them out here.
Not only are they killing me with the pieces below, but the the colors are calling my name. Sigh…
