Hey nail lovers! I haven’t painted my nails in a while. I’ve been so busy. Imagine being too busy to paint your nails. LOL.
I’ve been dying to try Street Chic from China Glaze’s Metro ‘Uptown’ collection. It’s this coffee color that will be perfect for fall. I can already see me wearing this color a lot. You can check out the other colors here.
Disclosure: The samples were complimentary. This is NOT a paid post. The above is my true and honest opinion.
I picked up this yummy color in a gift bag at an event. OPI’s Charged Up Cherry is definitely an eye-catcher. The color is a mix of neon pink with a hint of coral. Love this color! It’s fun and it’s perfect for summer. Plus it’s OPI, so you know it’s a long lasting nail lacquer. Would you wear Charged Up Cherry?

I’ve been craving a turquoise nail color and I knew China Glaze would have what I was looking for. They always do. I found Turned Up Turquoise over at Ulta for $7. It’s little more green in real life. For some reason it was hard to get the exact color in the photos. Something really interesting about this color is that it dries matte. I used the China Glaze No Chip Top Coat to add some gloss. I love that top coat.
What brand makes your favorite turquoise nail color?
You can never go wrong with a pink nail polish. Especially with a name like “Make an Entrance.” China Glaze has pretty much taken over my nail life. We all need a little color in our lives.
I was kind of worried about this color. I thought it was a dark green, but it turns out it’s a lot lighter than I thought if would be. It probably has to do with it’s shimmer and light glitter base. Actually, it reminds me of a parrot. LOL. Maybe it’s the whole island theme. Oh, and I made sure to coat my nails with China Glaze’s No Chip Top Coat. It does wonders.
The color really is growing on me. It’s such a fun way to add some color into my life, which I always need. OK, now I’m thinking it’s a sour apple kind of color? What do you think?
Disclosure: The nail polish was gifted by China Glaze. The above is my true and honest opinion.
China Glaze’s Island Escape collection has been nothing but bright and fun colors! I really do love the one I’m wearing right now, 108 Degrees. It’s a bright berry color with specks of glitter in it. I’m always so impressed with China Glaze, the colors always last so long This is the third color I’ve worn in this collection and I think this is my favorite so far. There are still three colors left to go. Wonder which one I’ll wear next.
China Glaze’s “Island Escape” collection won’t be available until the beginning of next month, but I was lucky enough to get my hands on a set.
I’ve already worn the Blue Iguana (read the post here) and tonight I painted my nails with Electric Pineapple. That leaves four more to go.
Put your sunglasses on, because this color is pretty bright. Especially for me. Like I said before, I usually play it pretty safe. But, I’m turning over a new leaf and getting bold! Hear me roar (LOL)!
This nail lacquer reminds me of a muted neon green. Does that make sense? It’s definitely eye-catching and it reminds me of summer. Sitting on a beach…sipping a pina colada….feet in the sand…
Are you bold? Will you try China Glaze’s Electric Pineapple?
Disclaimer: I was NOT paid for this review. Although the item is gifted, the above is my true and honest opinion.
Looking for a bold nail color? You know, something that will make those nails pop?
Just so you know, I usually play it safe when it comes to nail color, but now I’m all about stepping out of my nail comfort zone.
If you’re not afraid of bold colors, then you should definitely try China Glaze’s Summer 2011 Collection “Island Escape.” This collection features a shimmering bold blue named Blue Iguana.
I wore this color yesterday and I got so many compliments I couldn’t stop looking at my nails. Do you ever do that? LOL!

- 108 Degrees: Flirtatious berry pink with specks of micro glitter.
