Hola loves! I’m posting from my amazing (I swear I’m not bragging) Miami Beach hotel room. As I’m sitting here, wishing I was at the beach instead, I keep reliving Lucky FABB. You already know I loved it. In fact, here are a few photos from the second day. Read more
Lucky FABB has come and gone. Just like that. It was a whirlwind of fashion and beauty blogging at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills. I’m not going to lie, I was a little intimidated attending this conference. Yeah, I attend blogging conferences all of the time, but this was one where I knew everyone was going to look amazing! No…I’m not an official Torrid model. LOL! But, I did have a mini-photo shoot with them at the Blogger Spring/Summer Preview Event I attended. I’m no model by any means, so it was a little awkward for me. I still had fun though! What do you think of my outfit? It’s all Torrid. Read more
Hola loves! I’m back from the BlissDom conference. I’m a blogger recharged! Today’s post is featuring an outfit I wore at the yummy Sabor de Lujo (Taste of Luxury) event last week by Vida Lexus. You may have seen a few pics on my Instagram account. The night was all about celebrating Latin culture and I couldn’t have loved it more! Read more
Wow…what an amazing weekend! After a totally rad 80′s birthday party on Saturday, I dragged my butt out of bed for what Los Angeles has been missing…a plus size fashion show during L.A. Fashion Week. A big THANK YOU to POSH for giving us what we need here in the City of Angels! Read more

Have I ever told you I love my blogger life? This past Friday was another reason to love what I do. I was invited along with a group of bloggers to the Torrid headquarters for a spring/summer preview. This not only included a look into the season’s trends, but a lot more. Read more
Who loves being a blogger? I doooooo! Being able to share my life with you guys is only one of the perks of my blogging life. Getting invited to some of the hottest events around is another one. A BIG thanks to CoverGirl for inviting me to P!nk’sTruth About Love Tour! Read more
It’s not a trick question or anything…I’ll just go ahead and tell you. They made me sweat. That’s what Zumba, Old Navy, and Rocsi Diaz have in common. They worked (kicked) my butt with a 30 minute workout session! They also proved to me and everyone at Pop Physique that I have no rhythm whatsoever. None. Read more
I live in Los Angeles, the land of curves, but apparently lack of curvy love. Months ago, I (accidentally) discovered that the Forever 21 located in the Beverly Center carried plus sizes. I was surprised, I mean it is Beverly Hills. And I think the only other store in that mall that carries plus sizes is Macy’s and possibly Ann Taylor (they go up to an 18). Read more
I’m always up for a party! Especially, if I know I’m going to be hanging around with some of my best buddies here in my city of Los Angeles. This was definitely the case when I headed out to Marie, The Curvy Fashionista’s, four-year blog anniversary celebration! Take a look at my pics below. Read more

Hey Los Angeles ladies! We’re always complaining that there’s not much for us to do around here when it comes to plus size fashion. Well…no more complaining. It’s Wednesday and I I feel like I’m still trying to recover from this weekend. I attended an art gallery exhibit on Saturday night, featuring some beautiful curvy women. You’ll hear about that soon.
Sunday, was a day filled with fashion and beauty. I was invited to the Retail Camp, which was held at Woodbury University. It was a two-day conference that brought together apparel and retail industry professionals, bloggers and designers. They taught them how to use technology as a marketing, business and brand development tool. I was only able to attend a half-day and it was very educational. Marie Denee The Curvy Fashionista and Jeanine Jacob of The Coveted, along with other top notch fashion bloggers were part of a panel called “The Business of Blogging.” It was a great look into the minds of successful fashion bloggers.
After the conference, I headed over to Kurvee, the shopping and beauty event. I met up with a bunch of other bloggers and we had so much fun. There was not only shopping, but there were beauty treatments as well. The weather was amazing as we sat on the patio waiting to see if we won any of the giveaways. A big thank you to the organizer, Tamika. You outdid yourself.
It was a greatly needed event and I thank all the vendors and sponsors for being a part of it. We had Haute CurVture, You by Crocs, Curvy Divas Rock, Belini, Chinese Laundry, Phoenicia Goddess, Sealed With A Kiss Designs, IGIGI, and many more! A portion of the proceeds went to Pushing Pink Pedals, they work with at risk women and teens to help build self esteem and empowerment through makeup. I seriously can’t wait for the next one. You should too!
