True story…I’ve been taking selfies before selfies were “a thing.” If you left your camera laying around, more than likely you found selfies of me making insane faces. Today, selfies are totally normal. So much in fact, that my good friend and makeup artist extraordinaire Luis published #beautiful by Luis Casco—50 Easy-to-create selfie-ready beauty looks. And I’m going to give you a chance to win your very own autographed copy!

There I was in the store’s toy section. Walking through each aisle commenting how we never had cool toys like this when I was a kid. No, seriously…we didn’t! I had my two-year-old nephew with me as he jumped from toy to toy—wanting everything in sight. We’ve all been there right? Toys hold a power in kids unlike anything else. They have the ability to empower, educate, and inspire their young minds.
I’ve always had a very interesting relationship with bras…more like a lot of bra pet peeves. Because I wear a DD cup size, I’m always shopping the full figured section. If you’re in the same boat, then you know that finding sexy bras for breasts our size is a challenge. And if we do find a style we like, the majority of the time, the fit is horrible. That’s where the pet peeves come in. Like straps digging into your shoulders, under boob, and even breasts spilling out. I don’t know about you, but I can’t feel sexy if I’m uncomfortable. Crème Bralée wants to change all of that by crafting beautiful and supportive lingerie for the full-busted and full-figured woman.

I miss being a kid. Going back to school was always so much fun. Well…mostly because I got to wear my new clothes, carry my cute lunchbox, and stuff my backpack with all kinds of cool accessories. You know, all that comes along with the first day of school. Ahhhhh…the good old days. I still feel like today’s fashion for kid’s and teens is so much cooler than when I was growing up. I was taking a look at the Kmart Back to School page and they have the cutest stuff.

I love my papa with all of my heart. He is such an amazing man, he has a big heart, he’s a hard worker, and he’s unlike any other. No, he’s not perfect and that’s OK. On this Father’s Day, I’m reflecting on our relationship. And it’s so very different today, compared to when I was a kid. We weren’t very close. I guess you can say we didn’t have that typical father and daughter relationship. In fact, it wasn’t until I was in my late teens when that all changed for the better.

It’s time for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s 2nd Annual Super Saturday sale in Los Angeles! The charity fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 in Santa Monica at The Barker Hanger. It’s hosted by Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman with Molly Sims and Scott Stuber. I attended last year and it is really a shopper’s delight. The New York Times has even called it “the Rolls Royce of garage sales.” and they’re giving me a pair of passes to give away to you!
