Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ officially started last night with a cocktail reception and “Curves for a Cure” fundraiser. It was an amazing night for an amazing cause! I am a strong supporter of Breast Cancer Awarness, since it has unfortunately touched my family. The event was hosted by the fabulous Gwen DeVoe, talented songstress Kelly Price, and 102.3′s Lon McQ. All proceeds went to the L.A. Komen for a Cure Foundation.

This was also a chance for all the bloggers to meet up. It was great seeing all of these beautiful faces in one place. There was even a Sonsi Photo Booth we were all playing with. I will post those pics later! It was too much fun. I finally wore my City Chic top (gifted by City Chic) out with a pair of black skinny jeans and Jessica Simpson open toe platform pumps. I am beyond excited for Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ ! I am officially counting down to one of the hottest fashion events for the curvy woman!

L.A. Fatshion Bloggers, along with The Curvy Collective, are going to kick things off on Wednesday, October 27th with Curvy Cocktails L.A.! It’s an informal meet and greet in honor of Full Figured Fashion Week(end)™ . I promise there’s no pressure and no “list.” Just come out, have fun, and meet other women who love “fatshion” as much as you do.

Join us at the Xbar, which is located at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, at 7 p.m. I have a few prizes to raffle and a little treat for you!
