Ideeli is “Plus Size Perfection”

Aren’t we in love with members-only (a.k.a flash) shopping sites? I know I am! And I definitely love the fact that a lot of them are finally catching on-curvy ladies love shopping too. Ideeli is one that caught on in 2010 and now they are regularly featuring special sizes. Yay!The sales kick off every Wednesday at noon and feature designers like Adrianna Papell, Calvin Klein, Seven7, Antik, and more. They not only offer plus sizes, but they also offer petite sizes. Ideeli claims petite sizes are more underrepresented than plus! That’s crazy! The fashion industry can’t seriously believe on tall and thin women like…

ASOS Curve is Timeless

Everyone’s favorite line ASOS Curve…well one of my favorite lines…has been getting a little vintage on us. And I like it! You’ll see from the pieces below that they’ve been inspired by the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. My jaw dropped when I saw the Full Dress with Variegated Stripes. I’m kind of in love. I would’ve worn this if I went to Coachella. I will admit, I was a “wanna be” hippie child when I was growing up. My dad had me listening to Jimi Hendrix and The Doors records. Remember records? Ohhhh the good ol’ days…just like the era’s…

Inspired by this amazing, yummy, and delish shoe, the Starlet Stiletto from Alloy ($39.90), I had to go in search of the printed shoe. And I’m not just talking about floral prints. I’ve also included stripes and the ikat/tripal prints. I can just imagine wearing a white sundress with a bold printed shoe. Dreamy…oops, back to the shoes.Prints are seen in all shapes and forms this spring. Whether it’s on the upper part of the shoe, only in the straps, or even in the heel; prints have definitely grabbed my attention. It’s not like I need anymore…

My Closet: Buxom Boutique Dress

Today, I attended a luncheon at the gorgeous Biltmore Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles. I always feel so classy when I enter that place. That’s why I decided to wear this amazing Asymmetrical Black Dress courtesy of Julia from Buxom Boutique. I paired it with my Madden Girl pumps, black tights, gold hoop earrings, and a gold statement ring. The asymmetrical neck gives this “little black dress” an edge, but with a 1950’s sillouette. The knee length hem is breath of fresh air in today’s world of mini’s. I wear a size 16/18 in dresses and this dress is a 3X.…
