I know you’ve heard about our very own Marie Denee, The Curvy Fashionista, snagging an amazing gig with Chevrolet. They just launched Cruze-arati; a new social media program that features six bloggers who are experts in their respective worlds-Fashion, Entertainment, Tech, Sports, Music and Travel. Marie is the fashion expert and she gets to travel the country in a Chevy Cruze covering all things fashion. Spring Trends: Floral Prints

Floral prints for spring are a no brainer. I love a flowy skirt, billowy blouse, or flirty dress with this print. I know most of the country is STILL covered in snow, but let’s just close our eyes for a second. Imagine yourself taking a walk in the park wearing one of the skirts below with a tank top and sandals. Now that I’ve got you dreaming of spring, would you wear any of these floral prints? Bootin’ Trend

I swore to myself that I would never wear combat boots again! I spent five years wearing them as I served in the United States Air Force. And when you wear them every single day, they lose any type of fashion appeal. But, the more I see them around, the more I want a pair. In fact, I saw this pair of Rocket Dog Rideon Vintage Worn boots at Marshalls the other day and I can’t stop thinking about them. They aren’t the most feminine pair of shoes, but maybe that’s why I like them. I would love to pair…

Spring Trends: Color Block

Although half of the United States is experiencing chilly winter weather, we do have spring trends to look forward to. The first of many trends is the color block design. It’s a very Mod style and reminds me of the 1960’s. I can see myself wearing #4 from Dorothy Perkins or #7 from Missphit. Which one is your favorite? Do you see yourself wearing this trend this spring? Beauty Buzz: KleanSpa

Little did I know a scented mist I received in a swag bag at BlogHer would start a beauty love affair with KleanSpa. First of all, I’m not a fan of strong over powering scents. I love natural floral and fruity scents and the KleanSpa mist was so yummy! KleanSpa is a company that is dedicated to sharing their gift of “scentual discovery with others by providing luxurious and refreshing products.” Products that are “high quality, competitively-priced, naturally-focused, while pleasing the body, nose and spirit.”Of course the mist isn’t the only thing I’ve fallen in love with. Thanks to KleanSpa,…

Romantically Ruche

I don’t know how many times I’ve expressed my love for Anthropologie; only to be so disappointed with their lack of plus sizes. I am such a fan of the vintage and romantic vibe I get from their clothes, but I’m definitely not a fan of their prices. If you feel the same way I do, then you’re going to love the designs from Ruche! At first glance you think it’s just straight sizes, but they have a “Curvy Plus” section, sizes 1X-3X. Great romantic designs for a romantic dinner with the love of your life! I’m just sayin’! Ok,…

Curvy Girl Travels: Ringing in 2011 by “The Bay”

I’ve always lived by the idea of how you ring in the new year will dictate what the upcoming year will be like for you. So, of course I make sure I’m traveling or with family and friends. This year I headed up to San Francisco with my hubby, little brother, cousins, and my best friends. I love that city and the whole “living by the bay” atmosphere. I am also a huge fan of the shopping in the downtown area. To die for! Can I just say the Macy’s in Union Square has the largest “Woman’s” department I’ve seen in a Macy’s! Definitely, check it out.

A quick note…

Tomorrow is New Years Eve and I am going on a mini-vacation. So, I will be M.I.A. For a few days. I am sorry to report I don’t have a best of 2010 anything, but that doesn’t mean I don’t care. I think 2010 was very awesome! And I am definitely looking forward to what 2011 has to offer. I want to thank all of you for reading Curves and Chaos and always leaving me feedback. I hope to bring you a few changes to the blog in the new year and more giveaways!I hope you have a fashionable and…
