New York City’s Times Square has never seen anything like Lane Bryant’s #PlusIsEqual Times Square takeover! Women of all sizes made their way into one of the busiest places on this planet to make their presence known. And I am so amazingly proud to have been invited out by Lane Bryant to not only experience it, but to let my voice be heard! Of course, I couldn’t leave you guys hanging. I made sure to broadcast the entire event live via Periscope. If you didn’t get a chance to view it…no worries! I have photos and video of that amazing day to share with you right now!

It’s true, I don’t work in an office. I sadly work from home. Yes, I kind of wish I had an office to go every day. Don’t judge me. There’s just something about it that I love. It just might be the idea of wearing career wear! If I did have to dress “professionally” I’d definitely do it with a little twist. Of course I’d have my basics, but there are a few ways I’d liven up my office wardrobe.
I may have mentioned this on my blog before, but spent a few years living in Germany. It was amazing. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I loved the fashion and shopping there. I envied the dark, chic, and polished style a lot of the women had over there. Carmakoma is the perfect example of the that. Just take a look for yourself. I was sent a sneak peek look into their Autumn/Winter 2013 Lookbook!
Yes…I’m still going through photos from my time in New York! It’s like a never ending stream of photos. I’m not complaining one bit, I just want to make sure you guys get to see them all. Today, I want to share the rest of my pics from my Nina Shoes showroom visit. Are you ready for part II? (You can read part I here)
It seems like the photos from my NYC visit will never stop. I apparently took over 900 photos while I was there! That’s a lot to share with you. So, as long as I have them, I’ll share them here. A few of those photos are from the Evans Fall/Winter Preview. I was lucky enough to get an invite and check out what’s to come from the UK retailer!
Here you go ladies! Part 2 of the Lane Bryant Blogger Conference I was invited to while here at Full Figured Fashion Week. The second half of this day was all about the upcoming fall trends and some much needed conversation. I know that’s something I really appreciate. We all know in the end, they’re running a business, but
I’m such a sucker for love. I’ve been married for over six years now, but have been with the hubby since 2001. That’s around the time the photo below in the Heart of Haiti picture frame was taken. That’s young love if you’re wondering. LOL!
Excuse me a second. I’m just sitting here reminiscing about my week with the Acura ILX. Let’s just say it was pretty awesome. And a week was not long enough. If you were following me on any of my social media channels, then I’m pretty sure you knew about my road trip.
Hey everyone! I can finally spill the beans on a project I’ve been working on with my friends (who also blog) Ivory and Elann! We’ve just released the Los Angeles+Lookbook! First of all, I will admit I’m not a model and don’t think I am. LOL! But, I was a good sport for this project!
I’m a sucker for a great pair of boots. Well, I’m kind of a sucker for lots of styles of shoes, but let’s not get distracted here. LOL! A reader recently emailed me asking where she can find wide calf boots.
Music has always had a special place in my heart. I was raised listening to Classic Rock, but I listen to so many different genres today, it’s not even funny. And yes I’m a Ciara fan! Not only is she beautiful, but man that girl can dance! Last night I was invited out to the Key Club in Hollywood for a special concert.
IGIGI by Yuliya Raquel has released their Holiday Lookbook and I’m in love with some of these dresses! You have lace, bold colors, prints, amazing silhouettes, and even metallics. I love dressing up for the holidays too! Just another reason this is my favorite time of the year!
Are you one of the many who can’t decide if you’re going to head out tonight for Fashion’s Night Out (FNO)? There’s so much going on like the start of NYC Fashion Week, the President’s speech at the DNC, and MTV Video Awards (to name a few). Or maybe you just don’t want to deal with the crowds. If you fit in any of the above categories, I have the solution for your FNO problems!
Hello shoe lovers! This is the last part of my Nina Shoes exclusive. The entire experience was awesome, but I have to say this stood out the most…the archive collection. The archive room was like a shoe museum. As you’ll see below, there is a lot of history with this company that all started in 1953. As fashion changed so did the styles and colors.
