I imagine the designer of Rue 114, Serwah Asante, to be this really cool, vibrant, and carefree woman. I’ve never met her, but I just get that vibe when I look at her collection. Even her motto is awesome—”Great style should be available in all sizes because fabulous, fierce, kick-ass women come in all sizes!” I couldn’t have said it better myself. Read more

FFFWeek Indie Designer Showcase: Youtheary Khmer

I first saw Youtheary Khmer show at Full Figured Fashion Week(end) in Los Angeles and she really stood out to me. That was two years ago and today she’s still impressing fashionistas around the world. Her current collection sold out the day it went on sale online. I think items are still on back order! I had a chance to chat with her at the recent FFFWeek press event and she’s still trying to catch her breath. She’s a very talented designer and I wish her nothing but success.
