I’ve always believed in investing in the basics and accessorizing or layering with stand out pieces. This is the same train of thought I use when I’m shopping for my hubby. It only makes sense. So, as I was looking around online, I came across the Old Navy Big & Tall section. I was impressed with some of the designs for men that they’re offering right now.
After rummaging through the hubby’s closet, I realized he needs a few things for fall. Of course, he hates shopping, so that gives me the opportunity to have a little fun. So, I went online and found some things I think he’ll like. And that’s how I came up with these fall essentials for men. Now, these are items that are great for pairing with other existing pieces in their wardrobe and perfect for layering.
Is there a science when it comes to men’s underwear? I’ve never really given it much thought. Whenever I go shopping for my hubby, I just grab the ones that look the most comfortable. Usually they’re cotton, tagless, and in the shape of a boxer brief. That’s about it. I’ve especially never given any thought to men’s big and tall underwear. That is until now—and I can thank Parker & Pine for that.

When it comes to grooming products for my hubby, I make sure that I do the shopping. If it was up to him, he’d buy the cheap and generic stuff. That’s fine for some, but I know that these products don’t work for his oily skin. They actually do more harm than good. That’s why I’m really happy for him to give the Neutrogena Men’s line a try.
When it comes to shopping for big and tall clothing for the hubby, it can be a challenge. I know I’m not alone in this and I’ve said it before. Everyone knows how hard it is to find stylish clothing for men—that’s not too trendy. Especially, in the stores. That’s why I went online and found 10 favorites that would be perfect for late spring and summer.
Let’s be honest. You’re going to run across countless posts on “Father’s Day Gift Ideas.” They will either be products you’ll love or hate. I’m hoping the Dollar Shave Club is one you’ll love, because this is pretty cool. Especially, for the dad’s out there that have to shave pretty much every day.
I’m going to try really hard to not cry while writing this post. I love my papa. I care about him more than I think he knows. He might joke around about me being his “other mother” whenever we go (or when I force him to go) to his doctor’s appointments. I can’t help it, I love the guy. No, we didn’t have the perfect relationship as I was growing up, but he worked his hands to the bone to provide for us. This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate the dad’s in our lives and show them they are appreciated. How about we start with a Lubriderm giveaway?

Our sense of smell is something unlike any other. With just one whiff of a certain scent you can be transferred to another place, memories recalled, and emotions can be evoked. That’s the power of scent. Whenever I choose a fragrance for my hubby, I make sure to choose one that’s not too strong, but is sexy and clean. One that I’ll definitely remember and one that will remind me of him whenever I smell it.
It seems like every day I hear the complaints about not being able to find the right clothes for our big and tall guys. Believe me, I know your pain! But, I want you to know it’s out there. We just have to look. Like today, I discovered Cubavera carries Big & Tall up to a size 4X!
I’m going to be completely honest here. I have no control over the skin care products my hubby uses. As much as I want him to use certain brands, his face is in his hands (literally). He really doesn’t like trying new things…that is until I was sent the Aveeno Men’s skin care line to review.
I really wish the hubby would wear everything I picked out for him. But, it’s not a perfect world and he doesn’t. How dare he have his own personal style. On a serious note, finding clothes for him is a challenge. He’s super picky and let’s not even get started on the lack of Big and Tall sizes in our local department stores. Then I remembered JCPenney (a.k.a JCP) carries a decent selection online.
I’m always looking for new brands I can dress my hubby in and today I found one…Cutter & Buck. It happened when I was searching Nordstrom’s Big & Tall page on their web site and I came across a cardigan. Just to be clear, I’ve never seen my hubby wear a cardigan, but if he did, I’d want him to wear this one.
In the world of plus size fashion, we have to remember ladies that we’re not the only ones struggling to find clothes that not only fit, but look good. Sometimes, I think they actually have a harder time than we do. Guys, like my hubby, are always looking for fashion that doesn’t suck.
