I love when an actress stands out among the crowd. One who doesn’t follow the rules of Hollywood. And doesn’t fit the mold that the entertainment industry sets out for them. Zoe Saldana is that person to me. It makes perfect sense that L’Oreal Paris would name her their newest international spokesperson.
Makeup should never be about covering things up. It should be about highlighting and celebrating the beautiful face you have. Is that a little too cheery for you on this spring day? Sorry, but I’m a in a very bright place right now— well, when it comes to my makeup I am. And thanks to some products Bobbi Brown sent me, it’s very easy to brighten things up when it comes to your makeup.
You can ask professional and celebrity makeup artist Luis Casco, I’m not a very good assistant. He’ll probably say I did a good job, only because he loves me. Truth is, I was way too distracted by his talent to even do much assisting! I was so busy taking photos and tweeting, as you’ll see below. Never mind that fact, that I can barely do my own makeup.
I will admit right off the bat that I don’t necessarily deal with sensitive skin on a daily basis. But, I know a lot of you live with sensitivity to skincare products, red patches on your skin, itchy skin, dryness, and blemishes (to name a few). And if I can offer you any relief, I will try! Simple Skincare sent me two of their latest moisturizers that were made for you and your sensitive skin.

Who’s officially ready for all things spring? I know my loves in the colder parts of the country are! Believe me, I feel your pain! I used to live in North Dakota and Germany, and although I enjoyed my winter, I couldn’t wait for sunny days and blooming flowers. This is the perfect season to wake things up a little. And the best way I know how is with a fresh spring makeup look, like the Mary Kay Pretty in Pastels look. And guess what? I have a giveaway valued at $300 just for you!
