When my aunt was battling breast cancer, she lost her hair due to the chemotherapy. But, that didn’t stop her from being her fabulous self! With a smile that lit up any room she walked into, she wore beautiful scarves and wide brim hats instead of the wigs they offered her. Turns out she didn’t like how fake the wigs looked. That was a long time ago, way before the launch of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign.
When it comes to my cheeks and my lips, I try not to use makeup that’s going feel heavy and thick. I love wearing light and sheer makeup year round. As I was going through some products I received to review, I came across a package I forgot to open. Don’t ask me how that happens. I opened it to find Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm and Clinique Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm. Two balms that are made for the sheer makeup lovers out there. Here’s a quick Beauty Buzz report!

Maybe you should only read this post if you really want silky soft hair—just saying. Personally, I’m a big fan. I’m that one person who’s always touching and running their fingers through their hair. And I love testing out different products to see what will and won’t work. So, when Dove contacted me and asked me if I wanted to take their Silky Hair Dare and try out the new Dove Pure Care Dry Oil collection—I was immediately interested.
When it comes to our skincare, there are so many things to take into consideration. But, do you ever think about your skin’s wellness? It’s not only about what you’re putting on your face and into your body, but it’s also how you’re emotionally treating your skin. I was recently invited to the #NoMakeupWakeup event with Simple Skincare and I had a chance to meet one of their experts Dr. Josie Howard. We discussed the relationship between stress, emotional wellbeing, and skin health (psychodermatology). We were asked to take her Skin Wellbeing Survey and I just knew I had to share it with all of you!
If you haven’t seen the movie Pulp Fiction, I’m going to need you to stop what you’re doing and watch it. Then come back to this post and check out the latest Limited Edition Urban Decay collection. The Quentin Tarantino movie is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year, do you feel old yet? The collection, one that I’m going to use every day this fall, is a based on the look of one of my favorite characters in the movie—Mrs. Mia Wallace.
Although it feels like a million degrees here in Los Angeles, summer is coming to an end. More than likely, we have hair that’s been damaged from all things summer related. As a Neutrogena Ambassador, I have access to all kinds of cool and helpful beauty information. And not just information, but professionals in the industry. Like, hair stylist Sam Leonardi (who’s super nice by-the-way). I had a chance to ask him a few questions on how to repair damaged hair, misconceptions, and even tips for the upcoming fall season.
