This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Unilever and Latina Bloggers Connect.
Whenever I think of the red carpet, the glitz and glamour is the first thing that comes to mind. I never think about the time or cost it used to take me to prepare my head to toe look. Today, I’ve got it down to a science—I’m really quick about it. And I know that I don’t actually have to step down this coveted carpet to be considered “red carpet ready.”
My heart is always a little heavy this time of the year with October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I lost a beautiful person to this horrible disease and I miss her every day. I know I’m not the only one who has been affected—we are all connected in some way. That’s why it’s so important to help support The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, founded by Evelyn H. Lauder.
We have to be very careful when it comes to what we put on our skin. Believe me, when I tell you that I know not all skin is created equally. I really love trying new products, but not everything works for me. Then there are times when I get sent something to review, and my skin instantly falls head over heels. And that’s exactly how my skin felt when I tried a few products from the H20+ Bath and Body line.
No one can deny the beauty that is Arlenis Sosa. I mean just look at her! She’s stunning! No wonder she’s the Lancôme spokesmodel. A few weeks back, Arlenis attended the New Yorkers for Children 2013 Fall Gala to benefit youth in foster care. And she looked gorgeous!
Hey beauty lovers! I wrote a post over on Babble.com featuring the new Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Collection. It’s limited edition and it’s a gorgeous collection! I just had to share it with you here. Make sure you head over there to check it out and see more photos!
In an attempt to not lose my sanity while I’m home sick, I’ve decided to write a new Beauty Buzz! I’m kind of coughing my lungs up, but I just have to share. This short and sweet post will be all about a few of my latest beauty favorites. These products were sent to me to review and were new to me. I hope you find one you like!
Hello my loves! You might remember a post I wrote in May, where I participated in a sponsored campaign with Latina Bloggers Connect and the makers of ZYRTEC®. In that post I shared my tips on how to say goodbye to #ALLERGYFACE. It’s time for part two of the campaign, and this time we’re going to talk about something a little different.
I love introducing you to beauty products I like, that’s the whole point with my Beauty Buzz posts. Always has been since day one. Here’s a new one from Suave. They sent me their Naturals® Rainforest Fresh™ Shower Gel and Soothing Body Lotion with Aloe to review. You may have seen their recent campaign with talk show host Wendy Williams.
It’s very true that time flies when you’re having fun. Just look at this summer—it’s already mid-August! It’s almost over. No matter how you spent it, odds are whatever you did involved the sun, salt water, chlorine, or heated styling tools in the hair department. Am I right? That’s why as a Nuetrogena Ambassador (all opinions are true and my own), I want to introduce you to the Neutrogena Triple Moisture hair collection.
I’m going to be completely honest here. I have no control over the skin care products my hubby uses. As much as I want him to use certain brands, his face is in his hands (literally). He really doesn’t like trying new things…that is until I was sent the Aveeno Men’s skin care line to review.
The products in this post are courtesy of Estee Lauder and were provided for review purposes only. All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
I don’t know about you guys, but when it comes to makeup I don’t want that heavy and caked on feeling on my face. I still want impact when it comes to color, but not all that weighs it down. I think Estee Lauder really has that down with their Pure Color Cello Shots collection. I tried a few of the products from the collection below and I’m really impressed.
Yesterday, Dove invited me to come out and get a little pampering at their Dove Hair Affair event. Of course I said yes! I joined them over at The Grove here in Los Angeles. I met with Dove celebrity stylist Matt Fugate, who was super sweet in between all the hustle and bustle of the event. I even had time to take a little video for a new edition of Curves and Chaos T.V. Watch below!
I don’t think I could ever express how much I love the beach in one post. There’s just something about the warm sun on my skin, the sand between my toes, and the sound of the waves that bring this chick to her most calming state of mind. Living in L.A., I’m lucky to have the beach right outside my front door. It’s definitely one of the perks to living here. That being said, I have to make sure that I’m always beach ready.
I’m such a bad blogger and apparently a late one too! I just realized that I never shared this amazing L’Oreal Paris Miss Candy Collection that was sent to me! I know I’m horrible. So so so sorry ladies. Yes, it’s a limited edition set, but there may be a few drugstores out there that are still selling it. This colorful collection was inspired by the spring and summer 2013 runways, as you can see below.
Oh summer…you’re here and some of us couldn’t be happier. OK…sometimes you’re kinda hot and just thinking about our beauty routine can get annoying. I’m just being honest here! So, when L’Oréal Paris wants to offer us a few summer beauty tips to make things easier and a giveaway as a bonus—I welcome them with open arms.
