I’m about to talk jewelry, bling, and baubles. And I’m not talking about that costume jewelry either (which I totally still love). This is just different. I’m talking about the stuff that will last through all trends and seasons. This is a wish list that I just might have to “accidentally” email to my hubby and hope he get’s the hint. Read more

I love fashion…trends always come and go, but there are just some that never leave or make a full turnaround. Those are my favorites. They’re reinvented, like the brooch. It’s always been here…but now they seem just a little bit cooler. And I love Nordstrom’s new feature on them! Read more

I’m in a serious jewelry mood right now. I think it’s because I know I have to pick up a few pieces to help style my looks tomorrow for the 365Hangers.com Style-A-Thon. I’m super nervous by the way, even though it’s literally 15 minutes of my life. LOL! Anyways, since I have jewelry on my brain, I was looking around and came across a lot of tribal-inspired pieces. Don’t you just love this trend? I think it’s such a universal style that can be worn all throughout the year. I’d love to track down some vintage tribal jewelry.
What do you think? Love it or hate it?
Where are my adventurous ladies? This spiked jewelry may be for you-it’s not just for punk rockers anymore. I love it and I can’t wait to order a few pieces. But, knowing me, I’d hurt myself with one of those rings. LOL! I’m clumsy like that. Anyways, these pieces are an easy way to add edginess to your look. Do you think you can rock spikes?
Cosmic Thread is bringing handmade geometric shaped jewelry to another level. I discovered them during MAGIC’s Pool Tradeshow and instantly was in awe. You might have seen these photos in a previous post. The designers are two sisters, Taryn and Megan, from Colorado. I really admire unique and creative jewelry like this.
The collection experiments with the fusion of synthetic and reclaimed organic materialsinto highly conceptual designs. Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with a forward thinking focus on the future, manifesting the inspiration of space into wearable geometry.
They’re called shoulder dusters, dangle earrings, drop earrings, strand earrings, and even chain earrings. I’m going to go ahead and stick with “dangle” because that’s pretty much what they do. And that’s what I’d like them to do. You know…just dangle there and look pretty. But, sometimes I’m worried they’re going to get caught in my hair. That would not be fun. They do look cool though.
