My Style Spring Refresh

There are a million reasons to be surrounded by positive and empowering women. Especially, those who encourage your growth on an entrepreneurial and spiritual level. That’s why I made sure to be at the annual We All Grow Summit. It was in my So. Cal neighborhood of Long Beach and I was asked to moderate a session with some lovely ladies about the plus size industry. It was definitely a weekend to remember—as I knew it would be.

When I found out I was attending, I reached out to my friends at Lane Bryant. I knew I wanted to wear something fresh and comfortable. You know, my outfit staples. Whether it’s something with a boho flare or a fitted blazer, I make sure to put my personality into every look. The fit and quality of each piece was amazing as always. I can’t wait to rework them into different styles.

When shopping for any staples to add to my wardrobe I look for two key characteristics:

  • Versatility…What else can I wear it with? How many ways can I style it?
  • Longevity…Will it be something I can wear over a long period of time? How many uses will I get out of it?

With these in mind, here are the three spring outfits I pulled together courtesy of Lane Bryant.

What I’m wearing: Lane Bryant Off-the-Shoulder Bell-Sleeve Top, Patched Skinny Roll Jean by Melissa McCarthy Seven7, and Double-Buckle Block Heel Sandal.
