A Spring Kind of Feeling

Birds are chirping and flowers are blooming. It’s officially spring guys! Do you know what else that means? It means it’s time to put the dreaded spring cleaning on hold and get your wardrobe in order. For me that means finding dresses, sandals, and accessories I can mix and match. Pieces that will pull double and even triple duty this season. I recently partnered with Kohl’s to share a look with you that can be worn more than once.

From 3/28-4/3, Get $10 OFF Kohl’s women’s plus-size apparel purchase of $30 or more with code PLUSTYLE.

When it comes to putting a wardrobe together (for any season), I can’t help but shop for those basic pieces. I also make sure to look for items that stand out and are unique in their own way. I do this so I don’t get too bored with my looks. We all have our own personal styles and I definitely make sure to reflect that. And that’s what I did on my recent trip to Kohl’s.

What I’m wearing: Plus Size Jennifer Lopez Pointelle Fit & Flare Dress, Plus Size SONOMA Goods for Life™ Jean Jacket, Mudd® Women’s Wedge Sandals, SONOMA Goods for Life™ Striped Pom-Pom Straw Tote, SONOMA Goods for Life™ Multistrand Necklace, and SONOMA Goods for Life™ Circle Drop Earrings.

There’s no way around it, I love this look! And it is so amazingly versatile. This Jennifer Lopez dress is the center of it all. I love the silhouette, texture, and it has pockets. Pockets on a dress are always a winner in my book. And it has the potential to go from day to night with just changing a few accessories.

I styled this daytime spring look with a denim jacket, edgy wedges, statement jewelry, and a straw tote bag. I can also see it worn with a cardigan or blazer for an office look. Remove the denim jacket and add a clutch for a night out. As you’ll see below, it’s a must-have spring dress. And if you don’t like wearing dark colors, it’s available in three spring-loving colors. So what do you think?

How would you style this dress for your spring look?
