Formalwear is one of those things that no one really thinks about until they need it. Like maybe for a wedding or a special occasion. I know I don’t have a formal gown sitting in my closet waiting to be worn. And if I did, it probably wouldn’t be exactly what I wanted or it would fit funny. Wouldn’t it be awesome if you could just jump online and design your own dress with just the few clicks of a button? Oh…but wait beautiful people, there is. It’s called K Couture.
I had a chance to try out this new online dress shop and I had such a hard time choosing one. I mean, it is their goal to provide the perfect dress for every shape and size. Let’s just say I had a lot to choose from. As you’ll see below, I went with the Penelope in Eggplant (one of my favorite colors). It’s a satin knee-length pleated dress and it’s so pretty! And if I wanted, I could order matching menswear pieces for the hubby. Yes, formalwear for women and men in one place!
And just a little FYI on this dress. I had sent in my measurements when I ordered the dress and lost some weight. So, the waist is a little bit big. Nothing a quick visit to a tailor won’t fix. I still love the way it fits me though and how I feel in it!
Remember when I said you could basically create your own dress? K Couture has an exclusive online tool called “Design A Dress” that makes it easy for you to customize everything—the sleeves, the neckline, the fabric, the waistline, and the length. All to create a dress that fits your body type and style. They even offer extended sizes from 0-34 and 24 mix-and-match colors. And if you need a custom size, you can call their headquarters at 1-855-612-5426 to discuss other sizing options. It’s very convenient.
If you decide to order an already pre-made dress, please be aware that their sizes do run smaller. So, make sure to follow the size chart or give them a call for help. Other than that, the quality is great and it’s perfect for all of the spring weddings you’ll be attending or be a part of.
