Can I just rewind myself back into last week? If I did, I’d be right back in that pool, basking in the Miami Beach sun (covered in sunscreen of course). Finally, after weeks of planning, my best friend Mary and eight of her closest friends traveled to Florida for her bachelorette weekend. It was definitely one to remember and I had to choose the photos that I’m going to share with you wisely. Sorry, but some bachelorette moments should just be kept to ourselves.
As we put together this weekend, I had to keep in mind that it was Memorial Day weekend and that South Beach would be packed. So, I looked for a place to stay in the North Miami Beach area. That’s where I found Mare Azur Miami, a luxury apartment vacation rental. It was beautiful, clean, modern, and located right on the beach. Could it get any more perfect?
After a red eye flight from L.A., I was greeted at the airport by a sleek Kia K900 courtesy of Kia. They are so awesome. This was the perfect luxury car to cruise around Miami in. The girls sitting in the back even had their own “paparazzi shade” to protect them from prying eyes and the glaring Miami Beach sun. Only the best for my ladies as I chauffeured them around Collins Ave.
Since, I was the first to arrive to our one bedroom apartment. I was lucky enough to check in early (Thanks Mare Azur Miami!), which gave me time to prepare hangover kits for the girls. Super cute idea if you’re hosting a bachelorette party. As soon as all the girls got there, the fun began. And it was the usual yummy dinner at Havana 1957, drinks and live music at Ordinary Blackbird Ordinary, a drag show at Lips in Fort Lauderdale, and some more drinks, dancing, and shenanigans.
I will say…my favorite part of the entire weekend was just hanging on the beach with my girls. It honestly did not get better than that. Being able to just literally chill in the ocean and soak in the sun, without any interruptions or crazy packed beaches or pools. It…was…awesome. I wouldn’t have had it any other way.
