Beauty Buzz / Yardley London Nourishing Elements Artisan Soap

It’s beauty confession time. For the past few years, I’ve used nothing but liquid body washes when it comes to bathing. I haven’t used bar soap in a really long time. OK, not the craziest confession, but it sounds weird admitting that. All we used growing up was bar soap. In fact, I don’t even know why I stopped using it in the first place. Well, looks like it may be back in my bathing routine since Yardley London Nourishing Elements Artisan Soap sent me a few bars to try out.

I was sent the soaps in two calming fragrances: Oat, Milk & Honey and Lavender & Rosemary. I wish this was a scratch and sniff post, because these smell so heavenly. You should know that these soaps are made with 100% sustainable vegetable oils, natural butters, and beneficial botanicals. It’s extra gentle and they don’t use artificial colors or harsh chemicals. It’s also cruelty-free, biodegradable, Paraben-free, and Sulfate-free.

I’ve been using these soaps over the weekend and I can honestly say I like them a lot. After rinsing off the soap, my skin feels a little dry. It’s nothing uncomfortable, just noticeable. But, after toweling off, that feeling goes away. When I’m dry, my skin feels soft and I like that there’s no heavy scent left behind (for my sensitive nose).

Just know, if you’re looking for a super indulgent moisturizing and heavy scented soap, this isn’t for you. But, if you’re looking for something light and gentle, then you’ve found it. You can find Yardley London at drugstores nationwide.
