Did I ever tell you how important indie plus-size fashion designers are to this community? They bring creativity, quality, and detail to their collections that a lot of big brands sometimes miss. Not to mention blood, sweat, and tears. As you know, Elann Zelie of Zelie for She is a personal friend of mine. And she is so passionate about her line and creating stylish clothing for plus-size women. So, when she asked if I’d be interested in modeling a few of her pieces, of course I said yes!
No, I DO NOT consider myself a model. I was helping a friend out. Elann wanted to show her clothes on women with different body types. That’s super refreshing! Needless to say, Ivory of IvoryJinelle.blogspot.com and I were more than happy to be of assistance. I love these ladies! They always make me feel so comfortable, especially with Elann behind the camera.
Here are a few photos from our fun shoot in Downtown L.A. A lot of these are pieces are from her recent collections—Dark Romance and District of Art. Yes, that cape and t-shirt dress went home with me. I just wanted to share some of these looks with you. Which include a few of her own models.
Thank you for including me Elann! Make sure to visit ZelieforShe.com today!
