Sparkling Latin Grammy Style

I consider myself a denim kind of lady—wearing it all of the time. Truth is, I don’t wear dresses very often. But, when L’Oreal Paris invited me to attend the Latin Grammys in Las Vegas, I made sure to find one that added some much needed sparkle. I had a few outfits ideas in mind for the biggest night in Latin music. It was this look that made the cut!

I wanted something comfortable (of course) and not too revealing. I bought this Sequined Shift Dress at Forever 21. Because it was super glitzy, I made sure to keep everything else really simple. I found these vintage-inspired earrings and ring at H&M. I wore opaque tights and my favorite Sam Edelman Zola Suede Pumps.

I love everything about it, except the neckline. I wish it was either higher or lower. Either way would’ve been better. The dress is pretty comfy, I did experience a little itching from the sequins under the arm. Besides that, I was really happy with the dress. I’m a 16/18 and this is a size 3X.

It’s a good thing I made sure to sparkle, because L’Oreal Paris gave us the opportunity to walk on the “green carpet.” That’s the Latin Grammys equivalent to the red carpet. I was bumping shoulders with a number of musicians and celebrities. I couldn’t believe how crazy it was. It was so much fun! My favorite performance had to be Pitbull and Santana. Did you watch? What was your favorite performance?
