This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Latina Bloggers Connect and L’Oreal Paris.
If you’re a regular reader of this blog, you know how adamant I am about being proud of who you are. This means inside and out my loves. There are so many different things that make me who I am and being Latina is one of my favorites. I come from a long line of amazing and strong women—like my mom. Growing up, she not only inspired me to be whatever I wanted, but even today she continues to support me no matter what I do.
My mom pushed me to go above and beyond what was expected of me. Sure, I was worried that I would fail. I mean, I’m only human. I didn’t want to disappoint anyone.
But, I pushed through and became the first person in my family to graduate from college. It was around this time I became aware of the power I held inside of me.
I was driven to do what I love and what made me happy. This is something that I still follow today. As a Latina and a woman period—I know that there is nothing that I can’t achieve. And like the L’Oreal Paris motto say’s, it’s “Because I’m Worth It.”
Remember, don’t you ever think that you are not worthy of success and happiness. You deserve all of it and more. No matter where you come from or where you’re going, this is the only life you have. Use your inner power to express yourself and become what you truly want. You, my loves, are so very worthy.
We know that expression comes in all of forms. Not only do I love being able to express myself through writing, but I also love doing it through beauty and fashion.
Brands like L’Oreal Paris realize that and are also true believers. They are inspired by a belief that every woman is worth it, and believe women are their personal best when they feel confident and beautiful. That’s why I was so excited to work on this campaign with them.
How to Get My Look
I decided to create a simple and quick look that pops for a night out. And you don’t have to be a beauty pro to achieve it. I even put together a tutorial for you below, along with a giveaway of some of the products I used!
I used all L’Oreal Paris products of course. I’m a big fan of their products, which come in a wide range for different skin tones and hair types. Perfect for Latinas!
I was sent the following to try:
- First, I applied L’Oreal Paris Magic BB Anti-Redness as a primer.
- Then I applied L’Oreal Paris Visible Lift Blur Foundation over it.
- My brows were already done, but normally I would’ve filled them in with L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Sculptor.
- Lined the upper lash line with L’Oreal Paris Infallible Silkissime in True Teal.
- Lined lower lid and waterline (went on easily and smooth).
- Using a cotton swab, I smudged the bottom lid for a smokey effect.
- Applied a few coats of L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara to my lashes.
- Finished with L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire in Blushing Harmony.
One lucky ready will win L’Oreal Paris Silkissime Eyeliner by Infallible, L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire, and L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara. Enter below!
