Behind-The-Scenes at The Talk with Dove

Keeping secrets from you is not my favorite thing in the world. In fact, it took everything to not spill all the details. We were sworn to secrecy…I swear! Dove asked if I’d like to try out their new Dove Advanced Hair Series Pure Care Dry Oil Collection and invited me to a live taping of The Talk! I said YES! Hello…this is one of the hottest talk shows on T.V.!

We sat front and center as Celebrity Stylist Mark Townsend gave us tips on how to get amazingly soft hair. You can watch the segment here. This was such an awesome day! Before the taping, Dove sent a hair and makeup stylist to my house. Can I just hurry up and be rich, so I can have someone do this all of the time? Yes, I took their #SilkyHairDare and used Dove’s Pure Care Dry Oil Collection before the styling. As you’ll see below, it left my hair soft and shiny (more detailed review coming soon).

After hair and makeup was done, I was whisked away to CBS Studios. Now, being on the grounds of a major television studio like CBS is always fun. I saw celebrities around every corner. And I even snapped a pic with one of my favorites, Matthew Perry from Friends (see it here)! I’m never starstruck either! But, he got me.

Curves-and-Chaos-The-Talk-DoveAfter the taping of the show, they filmed this fun Dove segment you’re going to see today. Then, we were invited on-stage to take a pic with hosts Sharon Osborne and Julie Chen.

Then we headed off to lunch at Fig & Olive, where we chatted on all things hair with my new BFF Mark Townsend. He had amazing personal haircare tips for us. I mean, come on…when do you have the stylist to the stars sitting right in front of you? You get all the tips you can! Lunch was amazing and yes…there was even more celeb spotting at this L.A. hotspot! It was such an awesome day. Thank you Dove for the invite! Make sure you head over to the Dove website and take the #SilkyHairDare.
