Let’s Donate: Men’s Wearhouse 2014 National Suit Drive
Curves Care is back and I’m excited to share the 2014 National Suit Drive with you. From July 1-31, Men’s Wearhouse is encouraging customers to donate their gently-used professional attire to help men and women who are trying to enter or re-enter the workforce. We know that looking and feeling our best is key when looking for a job. It’s a cause I’m happy to support!
The 2014 National Suit Drive is looking to collect 150,000 pieces of professional attire (men’s and women’s suits, shirts, jackets, ties, pants, belts and shoes). They plan on distributing them to over 180 partner nonprofits that prepare men and women to enter the workplace through job readiness programs and workforce assistance.
You know they’re going to need a range of sizes too! That’s why I’m sharing with you here. For your donation, Men’s Wearhouse will provide a coupon for 50% off a future purchase to each participating donor. Yes, you can shop for the Big & Tall guy in your life.
Don’t have anything to donate? No worries, you can still help! Men’s Wearhouse will make a monetary donation of $1 (up to $20,000) to their National Suit Drive cause for every new Twitter and Instagram follower and each time the hashtag #giveasuit is used. So get tweeting and posting pics!
Remember, they’re looking to collect 150,000 pieces, but at this moment they’re at a little over 4,000. They need our help! You can keep track of the 2014 National Suit Drive and get all the details here.
