My Sports Fan Life (& Twitter Party)

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Crest and Latina Bloggers Connect.

To say I come from a family of sports fans would be a little bit of an understatement. You know I love my sports, but as a family we’re a little passionate. And now that the world’s largest soccer event is back, it’s kind of taken over our lives. No matter who we cheer for, sports always bring us together.

For Him: Neutrogena Men

I am a Neutrogena Ambassador. This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with NEUTROGENA MEN® and Latina Bloggers Connect.

When it comes to grooming products for my hubby, I make sure that I do the shopping. If it was up to him, he’d buy the cheap and generic stuff. That’s fine for some, but I know that these products don’t work for his oily skin. They actually do more harm than good. That’s why I’m really happy for him to give the Neutrogena Men’s line a try.

15 Summer Sandals Under $15

It’s been a while since I’ve done a “15 under $15” post. I don’t know why? I love these! I do know that the shopping budget this summer is real. No matter how much I want to get out there and spend money, I have to be smart about the purchases I make. Especially, since the hubby and I have decided to buy a house. This is adult territory! This means shopping has to be under control.

10 Summer Beauty Favorites

This summer I’m going to do everything I can, in the beauty department, to make this a carefree season of fun. This includes protecting my hair, skin, and nails. Yes, this is my idea of fun. I created a list of 10 summer beauty favorites that are definitely must-haves for me. Here’s to a hassle-free summer!

Soccer Fan Frenzy! Easy Fútbol-Inspired Nails

Newsflash! I’m not a nail art pro. Come on…like you really thought I was. Oh well, that won’t stop me from showing off my soccer spirit with a little bit of nail polish. And since the world has fútbol fever right now, you’ll definitely fit in. As you’ll see below, you don’t have to be a pro to show off your country’s colors. It’s actually pretty easy.

Curvy Girl Travels Santa Barbara

Can I just close my eyes and go back to Santa Barbara please? No offense guys, but I can see myself living the life in this beautiful city without a phone in my hand or a laptop in sight. Sadly, I was there for blogger duties only and didn’t get to enjoy it as I would have wanted to, but I did get to visit a few places courtesy of Lincoln Motor Company. And I did get to snap a few photos.

10 Favorites: Big & Tall

When it comes to shopping for big and tall clothing for the hubby, it can be a challenge. I know I’m not alone in this and I’ve said it before. Everyone knows how hard it is to find stylish clothing for men—that’s not too trendy. Especially, in the stores. That’s why I went online and found 10 favorites that would be perfect for late spring and summer.

Why Choosing the Right Bra is Important

This is a sponsored post in collaboration with JMS. Any opinions expressed in this post are true and my own.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. My personal style has and always will be about comfort. That’s just who I am. I know there are people out there who suffer in silence (or not) to wear today’s hottest fashion trends. Not me! I’m all about being comfortable, while still wearing what I love—even right down to the bra. Yes, choosing the right bra is important and a must-have in my book.

5 Fun Ways to Relieve Stress

I had a revelation the other day and it was on a roller coaster. Man, screaming my lungs out at maximum capacity sure makes me feel a lot better afterwards. Especially, when it’s doing something fun. Like scaring the crap out of myself on a speeding theme park ride. And let’s be real. We all have stress in our lives. If you don’t, you’re either extremely lucky or you’re lying to yourself. Whatever the case, here are five fun ways to relieve stress (without hurting anyone).

It’s Time to Reveal Your Best Self

I’m not perfect. Sometimes I have confidence issues at the most random moments. I frequently question myself. And I have body parts that I like to hide. I guess you can say I’m perfectly imperfect and I’m OK with that. I’m here to share with you what some might call “faults.” I’ve embraced them. That’s why I’m taking Nair’s pledge to “Reveal Your Best Self.” Will you?
